I work far from where I live. So I have to rent an apartment to stay during weekdays and go home every weekends when I have my 2 day off. Oftentimes, on Friday afternoon, I'll just stay at my apartment to either watch Netflix then go to sleep afterwards or wait for my friend's text so we can hang out.
When going home on a Saturday, I can either take a bus that is around 2 hour ride or a van that is just around 1 hour and 15 minute ride but it waits for the van to be full before it departs so it's likely same time.
I prefer to go on a bus ride because first of all, I do not like the smell of the van. It makes my head ache. Though on a bus, it also makes my head ache but I get to see great views and feel the cold air.
The only problem I have really with riding the bus is I have motion sickness. When going to a destination I cannot fall asleep because I like enjoying the journey. But when I don't sleep, I can already expect that once I reach the destination I would either vomit or I'll have a headache for the entire day or afternoon.
That is why whenever I need to travel far, I always bring with me an anti-vertigo medicine. That is my problem ever since I was young. Some says when you travel often, you can overcome it. Unfortunately for me, I didn't.
How bout you? Do you also have motion sickness? And what are you doing or taking to minimize the feeling of being nauseous? I got to go cause I feel like vomiting.

I suffered from a headache or wanted to vomit when I traveled far, the reason was my eyes strained my eyes too much to see better, the solution was medicated and dark sunglasses and it did not happen again.
