I wasn't feeling well for the past few days. I always feel nauseous with headaches. I can't eat much as I'm prone to indigestion. I am getting worried about myself. I thought I should have myself checked.
The last time I went to the hospital was last March 17, 2020. This was the first day that the ECQ was implemented in our city. My team leader took me to ER for check up. The hospital was already strict that time. So today, I went out and decided to go to the hospital. It has been 6 months where I'm supposed to be back just after 1 month from March 17. I didn't go because I was afraid I might get Covid.
I went to Bicol Access Health Centrum - Hospital here in Naga City, Camarines sur. This is where I always went when I have tonsilitis or laryngitis before. Good thing I have my health insurance so I can afford to go to a private hospital. I was quite familiar with the procedure of this hospital but today, I was a little lost. I went back and forth because of the new procedure due to Covid. Also, I was wearing facemask and face shield.
Now, they already have the Triade. It means before entering the hospital, you will be interviewed if you have a travel history or if you have any feeling of cold or cough or fever. They are asking if you have experienced any Covid 19 symptoms. They would ask if you have been to a place or town that has been locked down or if you have had contact with someone that has symptoms. I answered no to all those questions. They also took my temperature.
After the triade, I went inside the hospital and saw very few people as compared before. The emergency room and the hallway looks very quiet. I can remember before that everytime I come here this hall is full of patients waiting to be checked up.
I went to the reception and ask for an available doctor. They told me the name of the doctor and told me to get approval from HMO. This procedure was quite the same. There's only few people ahead of me so it is actually a better experience for me today.
I got my approval and headed to the second floor where the doctor's clinic is. Same as other establishment, there is a sign on the chair about social distancing and alcohols are everywhere. I also notice the signage on the door on what to do when going out or a Covid 19 advisory.
So far, today's experience in the hospital was smoother than I expected. I thought there will really be long lines and queues. But lucky me, there isn't much. The longest wait I had was when I just have to wait for the doctor to arrive. I had my prescription and will buy them tomorrow. I was quite worried with the results but I'm not ready to share it with anyone yet.
I hope the prescribe medication would help me be better.
When was the last time you went to the hospital and why? Feel free to comment down.

Ohh what might have been the cause of the hospital visit? I haven't been to an hospital since last year so i have no idea of the differences with then and now but since covid is rampant in the metro, i don't think things would have stayed quiet likenit did there
