Christians:God's Silence-Episode One
***A Creator's Trust for His Creation***
For believers, we all Know that God answer's prayers, but there are certain cases or situations we come across where it seems God is silent. we might be waiting on God for a particular issue, during the process of waiting, it could feel like God is silent. and this silent can be really difficult and frustrating. Imagine being in a situation where there is no one to turn to or run to, you come to God in prayers expecting instant answers or solution to the problem, or imagine passing through trials so hard that even your fate in God is being tested yet it feels like God is silent. Many believers today have been through this period at one point in their christian journey.
let's take Job from the bible for example, all through the book of job, he cried out to God. He needed answers about why so many evil had befallen Him, he was a man who was faithful in his offerings, he tried his very best not to sin and made sure he prayed for forgiveness from time time, yet what he feared most befell him.
He was met with silence. God's silence as some would imagine is not a sign of rejection, nor does it mean he has forsaken you. Job probably had such thoughts which is completely human to feel so but what we fail to understand is that in certain cases, God's silence also means His trust for us his creation.
***John 11 vs 6 to the end***
in the above story, Mary and Martha saw the silence of Jesus as neglection , their emotions closely explains how we feel today as believers expecting an answer from God on various issues we find ourselves.
The silence of Jesus in the above scripture brought about a new understanding of His power, and it was also a show of trust. It is one thing for us to have faith on God, but it is another for our heavenly father to have faith on us as his creation.
Jesus had faith in Mary and Martha that they would be able to withstand and overcome whatever situation that may come their way, that the death of their brother would never make them loose their beliefs. He had faith in them that no matter what people may say, their faith and trust in Him would never waver, that they would always make the right choice in the end. Can we say the same for ourselves today? How strong is out faith to hold on? God bragged about His son Job, He had faith that Job would never let Him down. Can the same be said about us today?
#remember...
**God's silence is not a sign of rejection but rather a creator's trust for His creation.**

Christians: A Reason To Be Thankful Prt3
***Hebrews 13:15 KJV***
***By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name.***
https://read.cash/@eldavis-Designs/christians-a-reason-to-be-thankful-prt2-246ac4ee
Previously we talked about various reasons why we need to be thankful, some of which includes friends and family, having a roof over heads, having good health and even the holidays. The little things we see and assume as notting are actually massive reasons to be thankful. Let's take a look at a few more reasons why we need to be thankful. Why don't we take a look at a few more reasons?
**i. salvation**
if you are truly a born again Christian, then your salvation is a massive reason to be thankful. during the event of the cross, salvation was released through the blood to save each and every one of us form sin, curses and strong holds of the devil. Though saved by grace, our salvation should not be taken lightly as it is more of an identity as to who we are, and a sign of separation between us and the world.
**Ii. The Church**
the church is not just a place to gather and worship, it is also a place to meet new people who would eventually become family, it is a place to learn not just spiritual things but also a place where we can teach our kids good morals and discipline. Most persons see the church as a place to seek spiritual support, especially here in Africa, we tend to tag the church as a place where we can find solutions to spiritual problems or issues beyond human understanding and capabilities. The church is also a place where physical and mental support can also be found. The church is a family where we can share out weakness without a single fear of being laughed at, it also a place we can display our talents and grow them as well. if not for the church, then this community would have not been here, and I would probably be writing something else today. In other words, we would not be here today.
**III. your country.**
When it comes to the country Nigeria, what exactly should one be thankful of? there is no good government, we are still struggling with the issue of electricity, bad roads, insecurities, poverty and unemployment. The cost of living keeps increasing on a daily basis without any sign of change coming, schools have been on strike for months now and the government is currently doing notting about it. but let's be honest, if this county no longer exist, where would we be now?
The country might not be perfect but it is part of our identify and God knows we are capable of dealing with any situation we come across.
**iv. God's word**
one of the most precious gifts given to us by God is his word, His word is yes and amen, it never changes, a living word. if you have a Bible, count yourself lucky. the promises and instructions in His words are life changing and would definitely come to pass. There is always a scripture to relate with in His word in every situation we find ourselves.
**v.Good food**
God in all His goodness created good food for our enjoyment, have you ever sat down and wondered who invented your favorite food? Am pretty sure each and everyone of us have a favorite food, like what where they even thinking about that lead to the creation of these food. My self for example, I do not joke with cakes. I love cake so much. There are times I have Wondered how whoever made cake in the first place got the inspiration to add various ingredients to produce something so beautiful.
Be grateful for the little you have, no matter how small it might be.
A New Beginning
Okay, I thought about so many ways to start this article but I was not really sure which one to pick, so am just going to type whatever comes to mind.
My name is David Elijah, am a citizen of Nigeria, a drummer and teacher in church, so yeah most of my writeups would definitely be on the christian section, though that doesn't mean it would be limited to that. This is actually not my first time coming to read.cash though, I joined read .cash around 2021 or there about, I tried my best to stay active back then, but there where so many things I had to deal with, then along the line my phone was stolen so I completely lost access to my account on read.cash. after getting a new phone I completely lost my passion to come back to read.cash simply cause I felt it was pretty difficult to earn here and I won't be able to cope with everything going on around me at the moment.
I don't really know what made me change my mind to give read.cash a try again, I guess I felt now would be the best time to start things over, have a new beginning and see where it leads. I am a pretty simple guy, when it comes to my favorite food, I don't have any, I simply eat what I feel like and it becomes my favourite for that period. I don't take acholic drinks, nor do I smoke,I guess that's pretty obvious due to the fact that am an active worker in the church. though a lot of persons make fun of me for not drinking but I don't let it get to me. There are times I do wonder how my life would have been by now if I had not grown up in the kind of family I did 🤔 well I guess we would never know.
For my hobbies, I love playing games, mostly the advantage types or games that has to do with magic, I enjoy reading, though my present job does not really give me the time to read like I use too, I am a drummer and when it comes to movies I don't joke with that, I watch all kinds of movies, ranging for Hollywood movies, Bollywood, japanese movies, animes, Chinese animes and so on. I think at this moment it would be wise to mention that though I am a movie lover, I try my best to watch movies that actually make sense or has a good and compelling plot. Am not really that much of the outing type, so if I am given the opportunity to choose between going out or staying indoors, I would most definitely pick the latter. The most important is that I have good movies, food and games and most importantly power supply, then am good to go.
For my job, it has always been my dream to be a graphic designer, I don't really have any professional training yet, but I do watch YouTube videos and study any material I come across. I hope to one day start up a graphic design company of my own. I know I still have a lot to learn so I am currently working with a small company that deals on photo editing, I believe this would be a great way to not only increase my skills with the use of Photoshop but also learn some management skills as to how to run a company and with time, pickup some professional courses. Below are some of my person designs.
For the things I hate, I actually hate being cheated or lied to, I hate it when people try to fool me, and I believe in doing to others what I expect others to do for me. I really do hope to learn from others here and most importantly earn along the way, but then again it would bring me great pleasure to know that my articles would touch one or two persons in a positive light along the way.
It's a fresh start and a new beginning for me, I hope it goes well... See y'all soon.
Christians: A Reason To Be Thankful Prt2
***Hebrews 13:15 KJV***
***By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name.***
The last article made us understand that we do not need a reason to be thankful, because there are reasons all around us. looking at it from the health aspect, research has shown that gratitude helps decrease blood pressure, helps reduce anxiety, and even helps you sleep better. In other words a grateful heart keeps us healthy. Below are some reasons why we need to be grateful or thankful, some of these reasons might seem small but they actually mean alot.
**i. A roof over your head and a floor beneath your feet**.
believers and even non believers today tend to worry about having a home of their own, or in most cases they feel their present living arrangements is not up to standard with that of their peer groups, due to this, they fail to realize how lucky they are to actually have a home in the first place.
No matter small or bad it might be, it is way better than sleeping in the streets. I have come across so many homeless persons who would even be grateful for having a mud house or a single roof over their head.
**Ii. Friends and Family.**
another reason to be thankful for, which a lot of believers and non believers tend to over look, is the aspect of friends and family. in our quest for material processions and fulfilling our dreams, we tend to neglect does closes to us and their importance. God gave us friends and family as the life of the party, He works through them to get to us in most cases. Many of us might have one or two friends or a family member who we tag as annoying or show spoilers but the truth of the matter is they are part of us and they contributed in making us who we are today. They may not be of much help in terms of financial support, but trust me we totally can't do without them.
**III. Your furry friends.**
most families own pets as part of their family, but many tend to neglect them, I have come across so many stray pets along the streets. in some cases, when we see these animals around us we tend to assume the worse especially here in Africa, some associate them with witches and wizards. the truth of the matter is God created them, both the good and the bad, so we need to be sensitive to the holy spirit and not just assume, and be grateful for nature. There have been cases where most persons have been able to experience genuine love and understand what it means to care and protect another from animals.
**1v. Good Health**.
one thing most persons tend to neglect is their health. they see no reason to be thankful for having good health as they assume it is by their efforts, they where able to achieve that. Most people today believe they are healthy simply cause they keep a good diet and workout regularly, there have been cases of persons who where healthy today but suddenly fall I'll the next, so always remember to be thankful for your health
**v. Be thankful for the holidays**.
We have so many holidays which we celebrate, ranging from Easter to Christmas and even the new year and lots more, people tend to associate the end of the year, which is the month of December as a period of celebration, but have they ever be thankful for having such a period? all they worry about is what to eat or the cloths to wear. Think about it, we wear our best and prepare our favourite food during these holidays, we spend time with our friends, families and love ones, if these holidays do not exist it means there would be no need for these things.

Christians:A Reason To Be Thankful
***Hebrews 13:15 KJV***
***By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name.***
Hello, this is going to be my first article here, and am not all that sure of how to really begin. though an introduction would have been better, but i felt I needed to write about this first, I would probably do a proper introduction later on.
My first article is going to be like a mini series, before we actually go into this, I would like us to ask ourselves, a few questions
▫️Do I need a reason to be thankful?
▫️Are there already laid down reasons why I need to always be thankful?
Believers today assume they need a reason before they can actually be thankful to God. if what they asked God for has not been given to them, what's the need? This is exactly why most persons only thank God during holidays like general thanksgivings or on special occasions, which is the complete opposite of what God expects from us.
***Psalm 95:2 KJV***
***Let us come before his presence with thanksgiving, and make a joyful noise unto him with psalms.***
but the question is how do we come into his presence with Thanksgiving when we do not see or have a reason to be thankful for? there are probably tons of debts you need to take care of, expenses you need to sort out, you may have been asking God for a particular thing and it is yet to come, with all these said, there are probably 101 reasons why you need to be unthankful, so why does God still expect us to always come into His presence with thanksgiving and a grateful heart?
the truth is we do not need a reason to be thankful because there are already reasons to be thankful at all times. even when we fail to realize these reasons, they still exist all around us. most times we just let our emotions get in the way of our rational thinking , it is usually the little things we feel do not matter or ignore, are the things we should be grateful for. This series would help us understand more, and see clearly the things we neglect.
Stayed tuned for more articles from me, and have a lovely day/night.
