Marriage is a beautiful thing, I remember when I was a kid, I kept dreaming of the day I will get married, how beautiful it will be and how lovely it will be to find my better half, no wonder the bible in the book of mark 10:7-9 says that "for this reason(marriage) a man shall leave his father and mother and be united to his wife and the two will become one flesh, therefore what God has joined together let know man separate."
Now the big question is, the feeling I and my friends have about marriage then, is it the same that young people of today have? The answer is no, because they have this mentality that getting married is a mistake due to rate at which couples divorce each other lately.
This thing called divorce has finished the society, and unfortunately married couples are not helping matters at all, at every slightest provocation, they run to their lawyers seeking for divorce without minding the impact that will have on their life and that of their kids. Besides
- who told you that there are no challenges in marriage?.
You see the reason for all these is because they have failed to see each other as a part of their flesh, they see each other as separate beings and that is a big problem. Whether you like it or not once married, your wife becomes part of you and you part of her. Now imagine you got hurt, do you cut of part of that body you got hurt in?, absolutely no, instead you apply medication to heal.
So why do you want to cut off(divorce) a part of your body coz you got hurt?. Marriage is for better and for worse till death do you part, not for better and for better, so don't be in a hurry to seek for divorce sir coz you might be committing a sin. Already the bible pointed this out in Luke 16:18.
Effects of divorce on the family.
Divorce whether have a lot of effects on the family and such effects include -that the children of divorce couples are more likely to experience poverty, educational failure, early and risky sexual activities, non - marital childbirth, cohabitation, discord and divorce. Do you really want that for you kids?, that answer is left for you guys.

Ways of preventing divorce:
- learn to connect effectively with your spouse.
- show him/her real love in the way they want it
-always compliment your spouse.
- always look good and take care of yourself.
- sometimes, spend time apart, it strengthens the bond..
Is divorce suppose to be an action? No
As we all know that marriage is the coming together of man and woman to become a couples but now a days guys don't wait for the day again before they put themselves in house.
