The Phoenix was a wonderfully beautiful bird that lived in paradise, along with the first man and woman (Adam and Eve), whom they followed everywhere. When they were expelled, an angel carrying a sword of fire was appointed to guard the gates of paradise and prevent the couple from returning to the Garden of Eden.

Driven by love and loyalty, the Phoenix bird tried to prevent the doors from closing permanently for his friends. That was when a spark jumped from the guardian's sword and the beautiful plumage of the bird lit up, thus ending its life with a multi-colored flame.

His immortality was manifested in his eternal ability to return to life by rising from his ashes.

As a prize for becoming the only beast that had refused to taste the forbidden fruit, all the angels agreed to grant the Phoenix bird various gifts, such as: healing wounds of other living beings with its tears and that of eternal life.

According to legend, when it was time to die, the Phoenix bird made a nest of spices and aromatic herbs, and laid its only egg in it. After brooding for a few days, one night, as the sun went down, the Phoenix spontaneously burned, burning completely and reducing to just ashes.

Due to the heat of the flames, the incubation process of the egg ended and, at dawn, the shell was broken, resurfacing from the still smoking remains of the Phoenix bird.

It was not another bird, but the same Phoenix, always unique and eternal. Although always younger and stronger than before he died. Always wiser, because he also had the virtue of remembering everything he had learned in his previous life.

The myth of the Phoenix bird exists in almost all ancient cultures transmitting the lesson of: "Try again"

It is an animal of good omen, representing life and the eternal growth of the race.

It also represents the 5 most virtuous gifts: Justice, Fidelity, Courage, Compassion and Humility.

We have to take into account that, when a story is so present throughout geography and history, it can only mean a universal need, a teaching or learning that must be passed from generation to generation:

Learn from failures, try again what was not achieved, enriched by experience and grow in adversity.
