Love at first sight refers to a set of subconscious associations made by an individual's brain that lead to falling in love.

Love at first sight can be explained scientifically rather than sentimentally. This is a type of infatuation that occurs after a process that involves a set of brain structures that are activated when dopamine is secreted.

Consequently, it turns out to be a feeling that can be explained scientifically and not just sentimentally as experienced, therefore it can be confirmed that it is a brain process rather than a heart process. It should not be confused with platonic love.

When love at first sight arises, people generate various thoughts of what they believe about the other, what they want, even how they see themselves projected into the future. That is, a list of arguments about love that can live with the other person is created.

Many say they have experienced love at first sight when they feel the following symptoms the moment they see a person:

• You feel butterflies fly in your stomach.

• You want to get that person's attention.

• You usually imagine the rest of your life together with that person.

• The attraction is real.

• You spend most of the day thinking about that person.

For many specialists, love at first sight is not related to stereotypes or the idealized partner, especially because just by seeing an individual you cannot know their personality or way of thinking, you simply observe the external, the physical and the posture bodily.

Scientists who study this phenomenon explain that it is not a deception of the brain, but a series of connections that the brain makes, without the individual being aware of what is happening, which tends to relate traits and characteristics of someone with whom already had a love relationship.

Therefore, many have determined that it also has to do with an unavoidable connection of the subconscious and that, for some reason, it reminds us of the positive impact that that couple left, without the person being able to consciously and clearly realize it.
