Habakkuk 2:3 KJV
For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.
God has a plan for our lives, most times it may feel like God Has forgotten His plan for us or the process may be too long. But we need to understand that before God's plan for us can actually manifest in our lives, we must pass through the waiting process.
The waiting, is a season were as a child of God who is expecting something from God, our love & faith in God are being tested. Now Gods plan for us can never be stopped, it can be delayed but it can never be stopped. It is how we handle the waiting process that determines how long we would wait for manifestation. During the waiting process
▪ Our faith is being tested.
▪ Our trust is also put under test.
▪ Our limits are tested.
Many Christians today tend to loose focus during the waiting process, and this is usually were the devil strikes, during the process of waiting, the devil tends to push in certain problems in disguise our way if care is not taken we might think that is what God has in mind for you. But that only serves as a distraction from God's original plan.
Genesis 12:1-2 KJV
Now the Lord had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father's house, unto a land that I will shew thee: [2] And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing:
Abraham was seventy-five years old when God first promised him a son. Automatically Abraham entered the waiting process. During the waiting process Abraham went through alot of things and his faith was tested in different ways. It even came to a time were his wife felt God was nolonger going to fulfill His promise.
God also wanted to see if Abraham was faithful to Him because he truly loved him or if he was just faithful because of the benefits he would get in then end.
The same way many Christians today wait on God not because of genuine but just for what they would gain. The waiting process is also a season to fish out the faithful belivers.
After Abraham finally passed all the test, God reestablished His promise.
Genesis 22:17 KJV
That in blessing I will bless thee, and in multiplying I will multiply thy seed as the stars of the heaven, and as the sand which is upon the sea shore; and thy seed shall possess the gate of his enemies;
Abraham waited twenty-five years on God. Whatever situation you find yourself faithfully wait on God, He would never let you down.
Yes, the waiting can be a transitional phase God is taking you through. Pray for grace to be patient.
