You should Run your Own Race

When you go to sleep at night, do you take some time to do a quick review of what you have done and achieved during the day? Or do you take some time to plan for tomorrow so that when you work up you will be just focusing on what you wrote on your daily routine plans journal. What time do you wake up in the morning? Are you that type which wakes up at 9am in the morning or you are part of the 5.am club?

It might seem like a useless thing to do, but if you check how successful people live you will see that they have a habit of writing a to do list and make sure they follow it and during day end they do a revisit to see if they did well. This is a good way of tracking your progress so that you don't get lazy or distracted and forget to track your progress.

Other Mistakes We Make

Some actions we do will destroy our lives if we don't take necessary measures. Remember we are different people with different characteristics and we do and view thing differently. The most common mistakes being made is portraying or living fake life so as to please the people around us. You will see someone getting into debts just because they want to please someone and those debts might end up crippling their financial status.

There are motivational speakers out there but just because they said you can do it does not give you the permission to test the depth of the river with both feet. Everything you do has to be according to plan so that you avoid surprises which are not good by all means because you will live to regret it. Always start small but with a bigger picture, remember we have big companies which started in the garages or in the basement but now are multinational companies. Its not a miracle but its, sweat, determination, positive mindset, proper planning etc. Faith only can not move mountains but faith in action will do wonders.

Put on your Blinkers and Stay Focused

Have you ever asked yourself why blinkers are put on horses? If you did not know, its done to block the side views so that when its racing it will only see where its going and not lose focus. So as us, we should avoid necessary associating with people who are not so determined as we are because they might distract us, if we do maybe lets do it to a certain level and keep our circle small. Do not try to copy what others are doing just focus on you race, remember God gave you your vision and he did not give me your vision so the final decision has to be made by your because you know whats good for you. From others you just get ideas, knowledge and wisdom and use it wisely when you get it.

Always Do Whats Good

No one is useless so make sure when you are on top do not see others as trash. Even if you see a cobbler do not look down upon that person because when your shoe is torn apart you need that cobbler to mend it. So as the janitor he is so important, without them there is no cleanliness so make sure you value others and always appreciate their existence and their work.
