Harvest Hosts, Dakota Territory Air Museum

Continuing on, we stopped at a Harvest Host in Wolf Point Montana called the Wolf Point Area Museum. They were actually closed during our stay but gave us permission anyway to stay on their site over night. This was nice but we’d sure have loved to see this museum.

Then next day our destination was Minot ND, to stay at the Dakota Territory Air Museum. Wow. This was fantastic. We arrived early enough to take our time and see both hangars. It was actually a pretty immense collection of old aircraft, and since we were the only ones there at the time, an employee obviously very passionate about planes, and very friendly, gave us a private tour of one of the hangars. Another example of a great harvest host stay.
