Albert Fish was one of the worst American serial killers - cannibal, pedophile and sadomasochist, known for bragging that he killed one child in every American federal state!
He was born as Hamilton Fish, and added the name Albert after the death of his older brother. At the time of his birth, his father was 75 and his mother 32. Shortly after his father's death, he was sent to an orphanage where he was a victim of abuse. It is believed that sometime around that time, Fish began to actually enjoy the pain.
Then, in 1880, his mother found a job and took him from an orphanage. Growing up, Fish often went to public baths, where he could watch naked men. In 1890, he began to prostitute himself and engaged in it for eight years until his mother arranged his marriage.
Although Fish seemed to have left a vicious life behind and started working as a painter, he secretly continued his sick hobby - abusing children, mostly boys under 6 years of age. As time went on, he became obsessed with sexual mutilation.

The family moved to Delaware in 1910. There, Fish met nineteen-year-old mentally retarded Thomas Keden, with whom he entered into a sadomasochistic relationship. However, he soon wanted more.
He took Keden to an isolated forest house and tortured him for two weeks, cut off part of his penis and ate him. He then bandaged the wounds of the unfortunate young man, gave him $ 10 and disappeared. To this day, it is not known what happened to Keden after that.
During 1917, Fishay's wife escaped, leaving him to take care of their six children. After this, Fish began to "hear voices." He allegedly once wrapped himself in a rug, saying that he was following the instructions of John the Apostle.

After this, only a step separated him from his growing fascination with cannibalism. Fish started eating only raw meat, but even this was not enough for him. In 1910, he killed for the first time - a boy Thomas Beden from the city of Wilmington in Delaware.

Fish committed the most crimes against mentally ill or African-American children. Once he found the victim, Fish would torture her, cut her and eventually kill her using his "tools from hell" - a butcher's knife, a butcher's knife and a hand saw. In May 1928, Fish saw an ad in the newspaper that intrigued him. A certain Edward Bad was looking for a job with the following description: "A young man, 18 years old, wants a job in the interior."
The 58-year-old Fish soon visited the Bad family in Manhattan and introduced himself as farmer Frank Howard. He experienced an unpleasant surprise when he realized that Edward was much bigger and bigger than he expected. Instead, the killer focused on the boy's ten-year-old sister Grace.
He promised to hire Bad and visit them again in a few days. During the second visit, he said he was determined to hire Edward, and asked his parents, Delia and Albert I Bad, to let young Grace go with him to his sister's birthday party. It is not known how, but Fish managed to convince the parents to let the girl go. That was the last time Grace was seen alive.
Police searched in vain for Frank Howard because such a man never existed. Even six years after the abduction, an anonymous letter arrived at the Bad's address, full of disgusting details about how the girl was killed and then eaten.
Although the letter was not signed, the police managed to follow the trail all the way to Fish, who was finally arrested. He soon confessed to killing and eating Grace.
The scariest serial killer of children!
On the eleventh day of March 1935, the trial of the most terrible serial killer of children in America began.
Fish claimed that God ordered him to kill the children, and the defense was based on his insanity. However, after only 10 days of trial, Albert Fish was declared mentally healthy, thus aware of what he had done and - absolutely guilty.
It was later revealed that most of the jury considered Fish crazy, but did not want to avoid the death penalty in that way. He was executed in Sing-Sing Prison on January 16, 1936, as the oldest person ever killed in an electric chair.
He was 65 years old at the time of his death.
