Wellness centers with yourself.
The goal of wellness is to improve and balance one's physical, mental, emotional, social, and spiritual health. Wellness might mean different things to different individuals, but for me, it is both self-worth and self-awareness.
This photo shows how I value myself in terms of improving my wellness. I regularly make time to assess, heal, and comprehend myself. Self-worth and self-awareness are both important life skills that believing in our worth and understanding our qualities and limits, both of which help us grow in various ways. Self-worth is the ability to feel good about ourselves in the face of criticism from others or the outside world, yet without being excessively self-centered. And it's something that a good number of people, even some of the most successful individuals struggle with. We will know our worth through self-awareness because it allows us to view ourselves and the events in our lives for what they are, whether they are right or wrong. It will help us make better decisions, find practical solutions, and develop sensible approaches to the various challenges we face in life.
We can gain self-worth through paying attention to, acknowledging, and accepting our feelings or emotions. It is the conviction that you have a purpose and that you matter, regardless of your contributions. We'll recognize and prioritize our physical, mental, spiritual, emotional, and social health because wellness is linked to self. Wellness is both self-awareness and self-worth.
