In 2020, the foundation for Ethereum 2.0 has been laid: the future of the smart contract platform looks bright.
Ben Edgington said that at this point he is very surprised by the amount of ETH in staking, according to him it is a huge vote of confidence not only towards the Beacon Chain but also towards the future of Ethereum, he is impressed by how much has been deposited so quickly encouraged of the community engagement, what they have built and continue to build, they are developing like crazy, Vitalik Buterin also says that the people involved in the ecosystem are very optimistic about how fast things could proceed as the really complicated work was done by launching phase zero, so basically phase 0 which has been eternal since the first of December in perspective 2. 0 and the proof-of-stake could come really very soon so there will be no more miners to use physical equipment as for mining and it will pass much less time than expected.
Let's hope well, the community is starting to get tired, there has always been a sense of urgency regardless of the view the focus between doing things right and doing them quickly is always present, but they believe they are at a reasonable point of development, they are working trying not to make big mistakes in protocol, the consequences could be disastrous so they have to do things safely but also quickly.

Ben Edgington ha dichiarato che a questo punto è molto sorpreso dalla quantità di ETH in staking, secondo lui è un enorme voto di fiducia non solo verso la Beacon Chain ma anche nei confronti del futuro di ethereum, è impressionato da quanto è stato depositato così rapidamente incoraggiato dell'impegno della comunità, ciò che hanno costruito e continuano a costruire, stanno sviluppando all'impazzata, Vitalik Buterin dice inoltre che le persone coinvolte dell'ecosistema sono molto ottimiste su quanto velocemente le cose potrebbero procede in quanto il lavoro, davvero complicato, è stato effettuato lanciando la fase zero, quindi praticamente la fase 0 che è stata eterna dal primo di dicembre in prospettiva 2.0 e la proof-of-stake potrebbe arrivare veramente molto presto quindi non ci saranno più i miners a usare apparati fisici come per il mining e passerà molto meno tempo del previsto.
Speriamo bene, la comunità si sta cominciando a stancare, c'è sempre stato un senso di urgenza prescindere dalla vista l'attenzione tra fare le cose per bene e farle in fretta è sempre presente, ma credono di essere ad un punto ragionevole di sviluppo, stanno lavorando cercando di non fare grossi errori di protocollo, le conseguenze potrebbero essere disastrose quindi devono fare le cose sicurezza ma anche velocemente.
