Is Ramsetu miraculous or real? There is a storm of controversy

The limestone layer in the shallow seabed extending from Rameshwaram in India to Manna Island in Sri Lanka is known as Ramsetu or 'Adams Bridge'. Is it a religious belief of Hindus or is it scientifically true?

The controversy actually started a decade ago, when the Congress-coalition government denied the veracity of the government. Recently, an American TV channel claimed that a scientific study on Ramsetu or 'Adams Bridge' has proved that there is scientific truth behind what is called Ramsetu in Hindu mythology. They even claim that there is real evidence that Sriram built this bridge.

Citing U.S. archaeologists, the television channel's science channel said the 50-kilometer-long limestone line that ran from Pamban Island near Rameshwaram in southern India to Manna Island on Sri Lanka's northern coast was man-made. Not geo-natural.

Archaeologists have cited photographs and other evidence from NASA satellites as evidence that the rock used to build the bridge is about 7,000 years old and was collected from elsewhere. It is known that the age of the sand in the shallow sea will be about four thousand years.

Experts believe that there is a discrepancy between the antiquity of sand and stone, that is, the sandstone on which the rocks were placed is older than the age of the sand. So it is that man-made science proves this theory Said Chelsea Rose, an archaeologist at the University of Oregon Geologist Alan Lester thinks that building such a long bridge would not be possible without superhuman strength.
