Color in many circumstances is an aspect that goes unnoticed, but as we grow we acquire new knowledge that enriches us and makes us more cultured people, although of course many of us have our own preferences and always lean towards a balance, that is, towards specific aspects of life, but today through this article you can learn more about color. First of all we are going to know and put a meaning to the color;

Fortunately, one of the senses that we human beings have and that without a doubt is a blessing are the eyes, the sight, being able to observe what surrounds us and all the aspects that come with it, such as colors, which basically thanks to retina we can see, although specifically thanks to two characteristics that it contains we can perceive the various types of light, basically it is a light-sensitive cell such as rods and cones commonly known as photoreceptors, quite interesting names but with an even more wonderful function and that undoubtedly help human beings in daily life, another extremely relevant fact is that thanks to the cones we can see in color, basically our eyes work like a computer, that is, because the cones basically perceives red, green and blue which are primary colors that when combined the result is totally the other colors that are missing and bas tones is the one that produces the white, black tones and their respective shades, basically the latter works when we are in places without light in the dark, when we observe everything in black and white.

Color is definitely a topic that covers too much and it is very interesting to know it and learn more about it in depth, so I explain that there are primary colors as I mentioned before, it is something very common that we all know because it is taught in the early stages. of our educational life, mainly the red, blue and green colors are a base that undoubtedly help us to integrate the secondary colors thanks to the fact that mixing them undoubtedly generates the desired effect of new color tones, which are yellow, cyan and magenta, that, like the previous ones, by mixing them we can obtain other completely new and personalized tones as a result.

Now, in order to understand how we perceive colors in everyday life, it is extremely necessary to first understand the concept of psychology;

In resounding moments of life we ​​feel identified even towards certain shades of colors, although there are people who are a little incredulous, everything has a reason and a reason for being, that is why this science was created in life, because on many occasions we feel attracted to certain colors, we feel identified and even give them their own definition, many times we also associate it with certain happy and even painful moments that we spend in this stage called LIFE, below I leave you a little summary so that you can still understand plus the value and meaning of colors in daily life:

-Red, is a color that has always been linked, since ancient times, to love and passion but also to hate, due to the strength, energy and speed that this color emanates in people, it is a color with a lot of character which in turn also identifies people who have a strong character, it is also a winning color because it has worked in the world's great brands, such as Coca-Cola.

-Blue, like the green tone we associate with nature, with the sea, water, rivers and of course with the sky, is a color that is intimately linked to loyalty, wisdom and spirituality, it also inspires too much confidence, a clear example of this is that the uniform of a large part of the world's police forces is blue because they want to inspire confidence in people.

-Yellow, is the color of happiness, of light, people who proclaim this tone as their favorite are undoubtedly active and uninhibited, capable of doing everything to seek their happiness.

-Pink, is the color of intuition and calm, a clear example of this is that in a prison, they painted the patio or the common room pink for the most dangerous prisoners and the effect was as desired, that is, calm, less violence , clearly a result of what colors evoke in our minds.

-Orange, a color that many call orange but the correct way to say it is orange, a color that is very similar to red, a warm color that also evokes happiness, it is a tone widely used in food brands because it also evokes want to eat.

-Green is a color, as I said before, linked to nature, it also reassures and even helps in the self-esteem of those who proclaim it their favorite.

-Violet, a color that in graphic design it is impossible to call purple, in design it will always be violet, grape, lilac and clearly its other variants, it is a color that catches people who love the mystical, who love to dream, it is intuitive.

-White a color that in design is a value due to the absence of light, it is a tone that is clearly light, clarity and peace.

-Black, like white in design, is also a value because it is the negation of light, it is supremely linked to elegance, the people who use it are very elegant by nature.

-Grey is a variant between black and white, it is definitely a neutral tone.

In my profession, graphic design, without a doubt, color plays a fundamental role, because design is synonymous with communication and through color we can express more than many believe and think, it is a window to profess and attract people. to brands and companies, therefore if you are creating your brand or want to revitalize it, it is necessary that you investigate more the colors that you are going to use or are using, create a general concept of how you want the public to perceive your brand to be able to look for exactly the elements to help complete this goal.
