May quit

Giving you

All of me, please don’t

Blame me, for I am tired and drained;

Please don’t blame yourself, let’s be grateful for what’s remained

Yes, this is tiring, no matter how counterintuitive it seemed. We both gave in.

Efforts will never be measured by satisfaction, not by the vague sense of

Feeling that we did more than what we do, and what troughs we’ve been

And yet, I can’t tell if I could carry the weight of loss if you’re completely gone. But what if holding on means carrying a much heavier weight?
