Of course, needless to say, you would draw out every dollar each day! Well you see, the thing is: We all have such a bank. Its name is time. Every morning, it credits you with 86 400 seconds.

Every night it writes off, as lost, whatever time you have failed to use wisely. It carries over no balance from day today. It allows no overdraft so you can't borrow against yourself or use more time than you have. Each day, the account starts fresh each night, it destroys unused time. If you fail to use the day's deposits, it's your loss and you can't appeal to get it back. You can't save time. You can only spend it. If you fail to use your day's deposits, the loss is yours. There is no drawing against tomorrow's deposit of 86 400 seconds.

The clock hands race, but they cannot slow down or stop for any human being until each person has used it all up there is never any borrowing time. You can't take a loan out on your time or against someone else's. The time you have is the time you have and that is that. You must live it to its fullest or not at all. Time is our most valuable asset yet the only one we can't own outright. Yet every day, each of us receives 86 400 seconds as a gift from life.

We have no right to waste even one of these seconds. Each is a miracle and each should be. Time management is yours to decide how you spend the time, just as with money you decide how you spend the money. It is never the case of us not having enough time to do things, but the case of whether we want to do them and where they fall in our priorities.

You see in life, in your life! Time is a non-renewable resource. Once you have used it, it can never be regained. You can use your time wisely or waste it, the choice is yours to make.
