This year, March 7th is National Be Heard Day for small businesses! This is your chance to make your voice heard and express your opinions on the important issues that matter to you. What would you like the government to do to help small businesses thrive? Let your legislators know what you think!

Mega companies are growing in trend, swallowing up the small businesses. What ever happened to the mom and pop store? They can't keep up with the competition from the behemoths and are fading away. Soon, we will be living in a world of monopolies and oligopolies. The small businesses just can't win.

There's no denying that small businesses are the backbone of the American economy. They provide jobs for millions of Americans, as well as peoples from around the globe, and they're the driving force behind innovation and economic growth. Yet, for all their importance, small businesses often don't get the respect they deserve.

That is why March 7th is National Be Heard Day for small businesses, and what today's challenge is about! You can learn more about this great day HERE.

Today's challenge

In celebration of National Be Heard Day, let's support a local small business by giving them a plug on D.Buzz with a link to their shop, perhaps even an image of that shop.

Today, let us know what local small business you love, and why. Please provide a link to that shop's web page or social media account, to give them some traffic.
