Weekly Development Updates for D.BUZZ - Today : Image Update
What's Good Friends?
The graphic artist "Frank Frazetta" once said...
What I do is create images, period. - Frank Frazetta
Mr. Frazetta would be happy with today's update from D.BUZZ, as we have taken our image processing and handling system to the next level.
It has been our top priority for the last few weeks to sort out and streamline our image processing system. We had to design a new content render, then image compression system, and a few other algorithms to ensure images uploaded to our IPFS system, then get displayed again properly. We are proud to say that, after extensive testing the system is now working great.
You can now upload images above the 1 MB cap. Our internal compression algorithm will shrink that image down and allow them to be uploaded to the IPFS system. When needed the image will be pulled and rendered correctly on teh D.BUZZ front end. With the internal content rendering system in place, we have opened up more flexibility in developing future features involving imagery, and how we display content. #AwesomeThingsSoon
We know you like to be informed.
We've also added a notification box that will inform users of any new features or updates to the platform, and what version of the platform they are currently running. This notification will help keep users informed, and if they have any issues to report what version of the platform they're running.
Making it better.
We have in addition squished over 15 bugs and issues that have been a nuisance on the system. These bugs were reported by users (like you) to us, and we are taking action on what they sent. If you experience any bugs or issues - please join our discord server HERE, and let us know. We take feedback from our community seriously. You help shape the platform.
Below is a complete list of the updates, straight from our developers fingertips to your eyes!
