Weekly Development Updates for D.Buzz - Today: Features Coming Soon

Hello, fans and friends of D.Buzz!

Building a house is a careful process that takes many steps. For a house to be sturdy, the foundation is an important part of the process. The foundation is what makes the house stable. If the foundation is not sturdy, then the house will collapse. It is important to have a sturdy foundation to build a strong house.

This is an ideal metaphor for where our company is at. We are always looking for ways to secure and strengthen our foundation so that we can continue to build D.Buzz upwards.

Today we want to share with you some positive new developments with our team as well as where we're at. Before this, let's talk about the previous hard fork and why our witness server has not been hitting blocks.

Witness Server Updates :

Our development team is working on getting the witness server upgraded to the latest HIVE version, this process should be complete before the end of the week. We are a little behind on this update, and for that, we do apologize.

The team member we had empowered with keeping the server up-to-date had a new baby, Being a first-time dad they had to take some spontaneous time off for family issues, issues that took them to a rather remote area with limited connectivity. We do wish them the best!

Due to the way they had the server configured, however, we had to format and reinstall HIVE, this process is currently underway and should be complete before the end of the week, if not sooner.

Again we do apologize for the delay in getting our witness server update. We are taking internal actions to ensure this doesn't happen again.

General Company Updates :

The positive news is that we relocated the majority of our administrative staff to a new location. This however is not just another office space, but a full-on compound. More on this in a moment.

We believe in freedom of speech and D.Buzz being a platform for this. This is a solid core objective of ours.

To this end, our goal is always to secure funding sources so that we can keep our team employed and working on developing D.Buzz, without having to avert selling ad space on the platform (*something we hope you are happy about as well).

The administration team of D.Buzz recently acquired about 1.7 hectares of land in the Philippines. On this property exist buildings, food sources, water, and more. This will allow us to construct a development compound so that we can house our team. All of this is directed at continuing the development of a sturdy foundation and future for D.Buzz.

We will be talking more about this compound in future posts, however, the key takeaway is that this now opens up additional opportunities for us to generate revenue, revenue that will then be put towards the development team of D.Buzz.

We hope you can see how this will be beneficial to the community and the growth of D.Buzz in the long run.

Today we do have an update we are rolling out.

Activate None Protocol Domain Name Links :

Many top-level domain names are just not automatically hotlinks (.Buzz is one of them). Unlike popular.com, .org, .net and so forth, these other top-level domain names do not get natively highlighted in Buzzes. With the update today this is now fixed.

We hope this will enhance your sharing of unique domain names with the world!

On the topic of sharing. We have added more options to share your buzzes. These added platforms include :

Summary :

Our witness server is currently being updated and should be complete before the end of the week. Our administration team has bought land on which, we will build a live-work play compound for the development and growth of D.Buzz, And... we added support for Activate None Protocol Domain Names while also, increasing the sharing features to the platform.

All this is exceptionally good progress, or at least we think so.:)
