We hope you're all having a fantastically creative and connective week. As Friday rolls in, it's time for our weekly Zap fiction challenge. This week, we couldn't help but think about our favorite Friday night activity — heading to the old bar and enjoying a fizzy soda water. While we were sipping away, we couldn't help but ponder the life of the bartender.
They spend most of their day behind that counter, observing all sorts of people coming and going. If you've had the chance to chat with a seasoned bartender, you know they have a treasure trove of stories to share — tales of their work and the myriad of quirky customers they encounter.
Today, we thought it would be delightful to explore that notion. So, for this week's prompt, let's start our buzz with the phrase "I was working at the bar when...". From there, the story can take any direction your imagination desires. It could be a setup for a hilarious joke, a thrilling mystery, or a suspenseful thriller. The possibilities are endless!
And remember, the bar doesn't have to serve alcoholic drinks. It can be a juice bar, a milk bar, or even an ice cream bar! Let your imagination run wild and have fun with it. 😄
