Another week has ZAPPED past us at DBuzz, and we're here for our weekly Zap fiction writing challenge! This week's prompt centers around crime-solving and detectives, with a spooky twist. What could be more mysterious than a detective trying to solve murder cases that were committed by a ghost? We can't wait to see how our creative writers tackle this theme!

The prompt for our weekly Zap fiction challenge is "A detective trying to solve a string of murders discovers that the culprit is a ghost, and they must communicate with the spirit to solve the case before it's too late". It's a thrilling premise, and we're excited to read the stories that our community comes up with. Will our detective be skeptical or open-minded when they realize that their culprit is a ghost? Will the ghost be mischievous or desperate? There's so much room for imagination in this eerie mystery.
