What's Buzzing Friends...
Remember when we talked about space in school?
We learned about the planets and the Milky Way and the constellations. And now just thinking about how cool it is to be able to see so many things so far away. Literally, if you think about it, some stars and planets and galaxies and nebulas are way more than 13 Billion (with the B) light-years away. And just think about how small we are. We're just these tiny little specks living on this tiny little rock spinning in this tiny little solar system.
Case in point today let's talk about The star Antares. No, we are not talking about a new Marvel superhero, This is on average the fifteenth-brightest star in the night sky! It is also known as Alpha Scorpii.
What is so immensely wild about the size of the star, is that is about 60,000 times larger, yes larger than our sun. For contrast let's assume our Sun was a softball, Antares would be as large if not larger than a three-person home! Think of all the softballs you could fill that house with!
Further perspective remembers, our Sun is the size of a softball. It would take 1,300,000 (1.3 million) Earths to fill up the Sun. We are not mathematicians, just content authors... so a short Google search later and...
So you could fit about 663,054,848,000,000 Earths inside Antares. (663 trillion) Source
OMG, that is a lot of Earths.
