What's buzzing, friends?

Welcome to the Sunday roundup of everything fun and exciting we've had on DBuzz over the past week! It's a day to relax, look back, and celebrate all the fantastic achievements of the week gone by.

If you're a long-time reader of our weekly roundup posts, you'll know that we love sharing stories about rulers, leaders, and other powerful figures who ended up in mundane positions despite their lavish lives in the past. And today, we have another fascinating tale to share with you.

Let's talk about Puyi, the last emperor of China who, throughout his childhood and adolescence, lived a life that most of us could only dream of. He had servants for everything, from dressing him up to combing his hair. But all of that changed when the Communist Party captured and imprisoned him, forcing him to learn the basics of daily life, such as tying his shoes and brushing his teeth.

After his release, Puyi found himself living in the very city he once ruled, working as a street sweeper. On his first day, he got lost and asked for help, introducing himself as the last emperor of the Qing dynasty. He explained that he was staying with relatives but couldn't find his way home. Would you choose to assist him or doubt his story?

Later in his life, Puyi ended up working as a gardener in the very palace he once ruled with an iron fist. While he wasn't a nice person during his reign, his story is undeniably intriguing. You can read it HERE.

Monday

Cue the drums – it's the start of a new week and a new DBuzz weekly challenge! This week's challenge invited community members to share their unique human skills, no matter how bizarre or unusual. From folding a fitted sheet to eating the spiciest chili, the community showcased their talents with flair and creativity. We loved seeing everyone bring their inner circus performers out, and can't wait to see what other exciting challenges will come in the weeks ahead. Keep buzzing and inspiring each other!

Tuesday

DBuzz celebrated Hive's strong decentralized community ties at the Pouch.ph Bitcoin event in Davao City, attended by co-founders @chrisrice, @nathansenn, and several ambassadors. In addition, DBuzz connected with the community through a Filipino newbie orientation event and hosted DBuzz podcasts in Bisaya and Tagalog. Future events, such as the crypto-rich FrolicBlock just before the upcoming person event Summerfrolic with an anticipated 2,000 to 4,000 people, and the planning of Hive Keychain mobile redesign were part of the exciting news. The Hive community is stronger than ever, and DBuzz aims to highlight and support its growth.
