What's buzzing, friends?

Welcome to the weekend! Humans have found solace by connecting with friends and loved ones via video calls, but have you ever wondered if animals can benefit from the same technology? Well, the scientific world has found some answers, and the result may surprise you.

A recent study on pet parrots revealed that when taught to use video calls to communicate with other parrots, they experience reduced loneliness. By providing the parrots with touchscreen tablets, they were able to choose their friends to call, and the results were awe-inspiring. The most frequently called birds were often the most popular choices among the parrots, creating meaningful interactions with less loneliness - just like us humans! Read more here.
