Are you ready for a Fun Friday Fact? Vending machines are everywhere these days, but did you know that these handy little dispensers used to have some pretty unique designs and concepts? Let's take a trip down memory lane and check out two vintage vending machines that will make you do a double take.

First up, we have the Ciggreet Company's "Black Cat" vending machine from 1931. This innovative machine was perhaps the first and only one of its kind to dispense a lit cigarette to the buyer. Talk about smoking on the go! Imagine being able to purchase a cigarette without the need for a lighter, but just by using a vending machine. - Source

Next, we have a strange vending machine that hails from China. In 2010, the country introduced a vending machine that sold live hairy crabs! Yes, you read that right. People could purchase a live crab from a vending machine, take it home, and cook it up for dinner. Talk about seafood to go! - Source

The world of vending machines is full of surprises and wonders. However, as colorful as these machines are, they still can't beat the colorful and exciting content that the DBuzz community has been sharing this week.

In the last Wednesday's edition of our Pawsum Picks, we featured five exceptional bloggers from Hive, whom had posted on a diverse range of topics.
