Ongoing Video development, and further progress on Hive Authentication Services (HAS)

Hey Buzzers!

Developing programs takes time. With each feature, new issues tend to crop up, but with each issue comes an opportunity to improve and make it all that much better. Last week saw us working on fine-tuning and putting additional development time into our features. Such as the 60-second video and the interface.

This week, we continued to hone the 60-second video feature that we rolled out last week, and we further pushed the interface refresh. All these features are now live on the testing server located at Next.D.Buzz, so you can take it all for a drive.

As of today, the mobile video upload is working, so you should be able to shoot and upload on one device. It will also work on our web app D.Buzz.

It is to note, that, with the condenser and rendering code that we are using, your video should show up as a "link" on the other front end (such as peakd), and only render as a video when viewed on D.Buzz (Well, at the moment, Next.D.Buzz until we push the code to the main site).

We are also working on a few new initiatives, which we will announce very soon.

In the meantime, we would love to get your feedback on the video feature and interface refresh. Please let us know what you think!

We also continued our work on the Hive Authentication Services (HAS). Each week, we get closer to rolling out this new feature to empower Hive users to have better security and ultra-easy login abilities. Spirits are high that we will be able to publish this new feature in the next week.

As always, we are looking to remove other little bugs here and there standing in your way. These are things that you may not notice, but they have a sizable (impact) over time. :)

Thank you for reading this week's updates. If you have any questions, please add them into the comments below.
