On The Spot Reward Summary, Week 96
What's the good word, D.Buzz fam?
No two humans are exactly alike. We all have our own unique experiences that make us who we are. And that's something to celebrate! Sure, we may have some similarities. But it's the differences that make us interesting and memorable. So let's take a moment to celebrate the diversity of the human experience. From the small things like our favorite foods, to the big things like where we come from, our variety is what makes us beautiful.
To properly celebrate the diversity of the human experience, we must first understand what diversity actually is. To put it simply, diversity is the state of being different. This can be in terms of race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, or even just personal interests. The beauty of diversity is that it allows us to learn and grow from each other.
This week, @glade1989 took a vacation and volunteered to help kids. A volunteering vacation is a great way to spend a day! You can get out and help your community while also getting some vacation time. It's a win-win!
In another place on earth this week, @eustace-kidd was caught in heavy rain while driving their motorbike. The roads were slippery, but they drove like a champ.
Meanwhile, the people of Malaysia celebrated their independence this week. @luueetang was there to document some of the celebrations. It is so great that we can observe such things.
While we are celebrating, we need to give a shout-out to @appalachain, who this week rocked out at six years on the blockchain!!!! WOW! That is a massive achievement, and we, for one, would like to toss them a high five!
When thinking of diversity, plants and nature is an ecosystem that is teaming with variety. Just look at the flower that @bennywb56 took photos of this week. They are the personification of diversity and beauty. In contrast, we have the picture from @kolkamkwan. While their picture of the plant is in a cup, it is still unique and neat-looking.
Many miles away in Gustavberg, Stockholm, @mizuosemla explored a town of pottery and flowers along the banks of a great lake. WOW, that is epic and perfect! In contrast, @castri-ja traveled back in time to a prehistoric land and captured photos of dinosaurs hatching from eggs. These experiences are so different from each other, but yet, also the same.
The experiences of life can be a lot of ups and downs. Sometimes, we feel like we are on top of the world, and other times we feel like we are at the bottom. But no matter what, life is always full of surprises. Sometimes, the surprises are good; sometimes the surprises are bad. But either way, we always learn something from them. @lordavatarii this week had their ups and downs, but it was a set of stairs at the park that challenged them. :)
Diversity is something to be celebrated and to stretch our limits. Just like a cat needs to stretch to stay healthy and agile (like the photo that @uvar shared), we, too, need to stretch ourselves to stay diverse. We can do this by exploring new things, cultures, and ideas. This keeps us open-minded and helps us understand and appreciate the world around us. So go out and explore!
