Metamask Login for Mobile!

Hello, D.Buzz development enthusiasts!

It's hard to believe that there was ever a time when we didn't have mobile phones! They've become such an integral part of our lives that it's hard to imagine life without them. From keeping in touch with our loved ones to staying connected for work, our mobile phones are truly a must-have.

It's time to face the facts - mobile phones are here to stay. In fact, they're only getting more and more popular as time goes on. And as more and more people rely on their mobile phones for things like web browsing, it's important that web apps are able to keep up. That's why it's essential that mobile phones are able to interact with web apps as well as, if not better than, desktop computers. After all, we deserve to have the same great experience on our mobile phones as we do on our desktop computers, right?

This week, we focused the lazers of the development team on the mobile login issues. The goal was to enable additional ways to log in on a phone. We are happy to say that this focus has been a success.

You can now log in with Metamask from your mobile phone!

Along with that, if you log in with your Hive account, you can use the HAS (Hive Authentication Servies) to log in, or just with your posting key. These all means options for you, and empowers you to use DBuzz the way you want!

Like speed? We do too!

We also added a bunch more improvements to speed up what DBuzz does. This week, it was focused on the video playback speed on DBuzz. You can now stream videos faster on DBuzz. We've made some major improvements to our video code, and we're excited to offer this new and improved experience to our users.

Easier to copy and paste than editing down a Buzz!

This has been a feature that may have asked for, and now it is part of the buzz!

We have removed the character limit on buzzes, meaning that you can type more than 280 characters, but the Buzz button will be disabled if the character limit is above 280.

Why?

This way, if you copy-paste a long text (above 280 characters), you will have the option to edit that buzz directly in our text box, and just wrangle in the longer text back to the 280-character limit!

This will help those who compose on other writing apps to better post and hone in on the right message.
