Greetings HIVERS! I'm @w-t-fi , and I'm an American Expat living in Southeast Asia. Since leaving the United States 3 years ago and falling in love with Asia, I've also fallen in love with traveling and learning about new people and new cultures.

I love to engage with the HIVE community to meet like-minded people and learn about new places to explore next.

The five post below will cut 'red tape' in Thailand, stuff mussels in Istanbul, view serene coast lines in Croatia, summit peaks in Bulgaria, and sip tea in Vietnam.

1. Bangkok: Thailand

@louis88 's post features a riveting recap navigating the red tape of Thailand's new 'Travel Pass'. As a foreign resident of Thailand, this article helped me manage expectations in the coming months as I hope to travel in and out of the country. The author covers topics including insurance, airline tickets, and hotel reservations.

2. Istanbul: Turkey

Let's be honest, one of the best parts of traveling is trying new food. Everywhere I travel I always make an effort to try something new and exciting.

@braveboat wrote an amazing recount of his experience trying stuffed mussels in Istanbul, Turkey. He describes mouth watering flavors and spice combinations using an impressive, down to earth, writing style. I'm considering visiting Istanbul, just to try the stuffed mussels.

3. Istria: Croatia

Approximately 1500km Northwest of Turkey is the country of Croatia. @Zorank writes about an astonishing walk through Croatia's coastal region of Istria. @Zorank's post is filled with visuals of the most serene landscapes and coastlines.

4. Karlovo: Bulgaria

I've never traveled to Europe, therefore I'm excited to learn about all the new places to explore. @velinov86 makes a convincing case for Bulgaria in his post recapping his hike through the mountains of Karlovo.

@velinov86 's post consist of images of mountains that are so high that they get lost in the clouds. A few of the images are of forests full of fall colors.

@velinov86 does a fantastic job of making the reader feel present at each summit.

5. Dalat: Vietnam

After all that hiking from the previous post, all I want to do is sit down for my afternoon cup of tea. Lets visit Dalat Palace in Vietnam. But first, we should read some reviews. Fortunately, @wnfdiary 's post offers an honest, detailed, and fair review of Dalat Palace's afternoon tea, menu, and deserts.

It's always important to read your review before traveling anywhere and I'm glad to have people like @wnfdiary write them.

Although @wnfdiary didn't speak highly of them. These sure are some beautiful deserts.
