Let's get Squishing!

Hello, D.Buzz development enthusiasts!

If you're in the business of software development, squishing bugs is all part of the fun. It's a challenge to find and fix those pesky problems, and it's satisfying to see the code working correctly after you've made your changes. Of course, not all bugs are created equal. Some are much more difficult to track down and fix than others. But that's all part of the fun, too. The satisfaction of squishing a really tough bug is much greater.

We are talking about bug squishing, as that is what the dev team is focused on at the present time.

While we are hard at work ensuring that the LITE framework is running smoothly, we also revisited our backlog of bugs and are addressing them to ensure the smooth operation of DBuzz. Here are the various updates for this week.

v3.40.3-dev - NEXT.D.BUZZ - TESTNET

FIXES

• Next.D.Buzz does not allow logins with "-" in their usernames, which was a recurring issue. We looked at this, and believe that the solution we will out will fix this one, once and for all.
  

• The character limit calculator still has problems counting characters when uploading images. This had been an issue for a lot of people, so the team addressed it. Again, we believe the solution will fix this.
  

• Repair Buzz button on 3speak (autofill not working). We love the 3Speak team, so we will get that integration working again.
  

• Fix the same API calls repeated 11 times (priority). We use some API calls for various integrations. It was important we got that addressed.
  

• Repair Buzz button text alignment. While not a showstopper, it is still nice to have items lined up right.
  

• Navigation alignment adjustment to make it look nicer and more aligned. Again, not a major issue, but it just looks a little better. :D
  

What's Next

While we still have a backlog of bugs to address, we are also looking at ways to improve. One feature is adding a Mobile Version of Metamask for logging in on the LITE platform. We are also looking at adding the "Hive Witness Essentials" to our Witness server. While it does not directly affect our users directly, we want to do our part to ensure the strength of the Hive platform.
