Summer's really here where I'm from just by feeling the sheer heat of every day being at home, and as much as I'm looking forward to this week's really long holiday weekend, I'm not looking forward to being drenched in metaphoric flames as our A/C installation was also postponed to next week. So what's a good way to beat the heat? I'm up for some delicious homemade mango smoothie as shared by @amitsharma complete with sweet candy bites AND ice cream! Making anything that can cool the temp down is a good enough idea, but definitely anything is better with ice cream! (ღゝ◡╹)ノ

If focusing on anything that might add to the carbs is not okay for you, then I found being immersed in some activity of sorts really takes one's mind off a certain predicament-- mine being the heat. So I found gaming these days - set in the snowy highlands - quite helpful especially if they're a story-driven game as well, much like To The Moon as shared by @chanclex which added with a melancholic vibe and a nostalgic vibe of pixel gaming, which really got me curious. Might check it out after all the RPG stuff I've found myself addicted to. (≖‿≖ԅ)¨

Although being cooped up anywhere inside isn't something I'd recommend especially with the heat index here reaching into the 40's ~~and we're only just getting started with the season too~~, it's best to get a breather under a not-too-hot day outside much like this ecological area as shared by @minhtrang which looks like the perfect place to relax and chill in what's closest to nature. Though I may have to rethink our local equivalent of such venues due to it being too "nature-y", I’d have a trip somewhere near the sea and breeze during these times. (▼∀▼）

While we're out and about, forget the heat BUT don't forget to take in the wonderful sights we'd be able to come across, much like these adorable photos as shared by @alianna of this teeny-tiny sparrow sitting on a cherry blossom tree which you'd definitely won't see indoors and might only encounter when you're really taking in your surroundings. Did you spot the one where it just plucked a blossom with its wittle beak? The cuteness level OP managed to capture is truly wonderful - definitely not something I'd see being in the city. ლ(ﾟдﾟლ)

Speaking of cuteness levels, our next feature for the week speaks volumes of heart-warming patience as @aibi93 shares the day she "stole" a cat, as it's not everytime you see someone who wasn't the initial furparent step in and take matters in their own hands by reading Max the cat's tale. Glad to read about another furbaby who found a loving home and caring mommy. ♡ + ♡-
