Hello Friends!

Happy International Women's Day (*one day late)! A day to celebrate the achievements of women around the world. It's also a day to reflect on the work that still needs to be done to achieve gender equality. So let's all take a moment to celebrate the women in our lives, our mothers, sisters, wives, daughters, and friends. Let's also remember the women who have come before us, and fought for our rights. Here's to a future where women are treated equally, and where their voices are heard!

In fact, being a mother must be one of the hardest jobs there is. It's a 24/7 job with no breaks, no sick days, and no vacation days. You're always on duty, and you're always responsible for someone else's happiness and well-being. You're constantly juggling work, kids, and home life, and it can be hard to find time for yourself. But despite all the challenges, motherhood is also one of the most rewarding jobs out there. There's nothing quite like watching your child grow and learn, and there's nothing quite as satisfying as knowing that you're the one who made that happen.

When you take the full time job of being a mother, then add on blogging, social media, photography, community engagement and more, It's hard to see how there is time for it all. But today our community highlight makes it work some home. Come with us and let's discover this amazing woman!

Today, we would like to celebrate @mechis85!

We are sure you've heard the saying "hard work pays off." Well, that's especially true when it comes to motherhood. When you combine hard work with motherhood, you get an unstoppable force that can take on anything. Just think about it: You're responsible for keeping a tiny human alive and thriving, all while working hard to provide for them. It's not easy, but it's definitely worth it. Our community, highlight @mechis85, makes it work and makes it look easy.

They joined the Hive in October 2021 and, since that time, shared a beautiful window into their world, life, family, and passion. From expressing their frustrations, and to joys with the community they present, they stand strong and overcome sickness and hardships, all the while raising a family, WOW. Side note, they also (*Unrelated to this post) won last week's Monday Challenge about pockets.

It is for all these reasons and because of their positive attitude, that we wanted to highlight them today in a post. Dear reader, go check out and follow @mechis85 today. To you, @mechis85, Thank you for being part of our community and sharing your life with us. It's awesome. :)
