Content Control Features (Round 2)

Hello, D.Buzz development enthusiasts!

Different people have different temperaments. Some people can handle more stress and anxiety than others. Some people are more sensitive to certain types of stimuli than others. Everyone is different and has different limits. It is essential to know your limits and to be aware of how your temperament affects your ability to cope with different situations.

We believe that there is no one right way to live or to be. That is a good thing. It would be boring if we were all the same. We each have our strengths and weaknesses, and each of us has something unique to offer.

Diversity is what makes life interesting and exciting. It is what allows us to learn and grow. We can learn from others who are different from us, and we can learn more about ourselves. We can also find our unique place in the world.

We want our community to be inclusive and not make people feel alienated. We want everyone to feel like they belong and that they are valued members of our community. We want to create an environment where everyone feels welcome, respected, and safe, or at least try to create such environment.

We bring up these points to highlight the reasons why we implemented the #NSFW content filter and control. We value freedom of expression. While we may not, on a personal level, agree with what people post, we honor your right to post it and express it. That extends to porn as well (except child porn, we draw a hard line and will not tolerate it).

As part of honoring your rights to expression and speech, we also have to try to nurture a welcoming space for people of all ages and temperaments. After internal talking, we felt that implementing a filter system would be the best way to honor both freedoms of expression and foster a safe space for all. We hope you agree.

How to enable the #NSFW posts:

** NOTE: Sometimes, after an update, you may need to re-enable the filter.

DBuzz now supports ~ strikethrough ~ markdown

There are a few reasons you might want to use strikethrough text. Maybe you want to show that something is no longer relevant, or you want to indicate that something is wrong. Either way, strikethrough text can be a helpful way to get your point across. Just be careful not to overuse it, or your readers might start to tune out.

DBuzz (the testnet for now - Next.D.Buzz) now supports strikethrough text. To use it, wrap your text in ~~ on the left and right of the text to be stricken through. See the example below.

Below, you will find the complete release notes for this week. We hope you enjoy the progress!
