🤖💬 An Exciting Update from DBuzz Development Team!
Hello, DBuzz development enthusiasts.
We have great news today.
We are excited to announce the release of a bunch of updates to the main development branch of DBuzz. These updates will help improve the platform's functionality and make it even more user-friendly.
One of the most sought-after features was to remove the "#" in the URL, and we are thrilled to announce that this feature is now available. You can now follow the same naming convention as other DApps on Hive. We have also added an auto-redirect, so your old links will still point to the correct place.
We have also taken feedback seriously when it comes to image hosting. We have implemented our own image hosting site. This will significantly improve image loading speed on the platform and enable future features to happen with ease!
Along with the above features, we have also made plenty of improvements. One of the critical new functionalities we implemented is an auto-redirect to the search section for username and hashtags search to improve user-friendliness.
We have also implemented a resize observer to handle dynamic buzz size and avoid buzz overlapping in post lists, which will significantly improve the user's reading experience.
We are not stopping there - we have also added support for more crypto tickers, short-form value set as true
in metadata, a condition for insufficient resources, and a prompt for errors. Additionally, we have set the default value to show NSFW posts as disabled.
Lastly, we have done a lot of work on bug fixing to ensure that the DBuzz frontend runs as smoothly as a well-oiled racecar! At the same time, we continue to develop and push the boundaries of what a microblogging platform can be.
Our goal has always been to create a reliable and easy-to-use platform - these updates are a step forward. We recognize the importance of offering a reliable platform to handle everyone's needs, and we continuously strive to provide the best service possible.
We encourage our users to keep providing feedback, which is critical to improving our platform. We assure you that we will do our best to keep improving our platform and meet your expectations.
Thank you for your continued support of DBuzz! Stay tuned for more updates.
Happy buzzing!
