We must allow the development of our children's personalities

Before being parents each one of us have been sons and daughters and this has made us learn from our parents, we see them as an example to follow in the beginning and when we grow up we see how our personality adapts to our behavior or way of being, and we wish then that our parents allow us as their children to begin to develop our own responsibility.

For each person the most important thing is the development of their responsibility, since with it they will be able to face the society that surrounds them and that will demand the adaptation of any kind of established norm, that is why we must allow the good development of the personality of our children and take care of some mistakes such as overprotection, since it is like a straitjacket for our children which will not allow them the full development of their personality.

Our children must learn to make decisions, of course at first supervised by us, but they must be the ones to offer us their point of view in relation to some situations that happen to them both at school and in the family, if each of us have our own personality we will be able to understand the relevance of allowing the same with our sons and daughters, otherwise we would never understand this importance.

I am used to be attentive to the development of my children's behavior and I do not let people outside our family try to influence them, there will be people of great value to our family as grandparents, aunts, uncles or friends who may at some point give good advice but let them try to always do what they say.

There are many advantages that we will see in our children when we allow them to develop their own personality, among these advantages we have the strengthening of their self-esteem or motivation for their life, this makes them be focused on what they really want and will make them happy, something that is priceless and of which we must be aware as parents, so we allow and help our sons and daughters to develop their own personality based on their experience and decision making.
