The Man from Taured

Time travel, a topic that would tickle everyone's imagination. One of the many things that everyone wish to be possible, to go back in time, to be with your loved ones who passed away, or maybe to bet on a winning lottery ticket, or to undo the things that you wish you hadn't done.

Although this is not possible, many people still believe in time travel. Maybe because of the many stories passed on from different people who claim to have traveled through time. And one of the famous stories about time travel is known as "The Man from Taured."

A mysterious traveler who claims to be from a country that doesn't exist. Where did the man come from? Where will he go?

Our story will begin in 1954. One fine gentleman came to Haneda airport in Tokyo, Japan. He seems to be an ordinary man, well-dressed, carrying a briefcase. Nothing extraordinary about him. Like any other passengers, he underwent the necessary procedures at the airport. He went through customs, x-ray machines for his belongings, and many other things. All is well since they did not found anything that is illegal in his belongings. But things change when he showed them his passport. The first thing that the authority had noticed was that, it was from a country or place named Taured, and as we all know, this place does not exist.

But before we move forward to our story, let's find out the identity of these mysterious man. Like I said earlier, this man is well-dress. He is a Caucasian or generally speaking, a white man. He also said to have a thick mustache. His first language is French but he can also speak Japanese same with other languages.

Now, let's go back to where we left earlier. The authorities questioned the mysterious man and analyzed his passport thoroughly. They have found out that it is real or authentic. Though the country Taured does not exist, his passport had stamps from countries he had a visit to. They also found out that he had to visit Japan 3 times and this was his third time. The man showed them the stamp from when he had visited Japan. The authorities were so confused about what is happening and how it happened. So the authorities get a hold of this man. They brought him to a room to question him. The man shows no sign of resistance.

One of the officials brought a map to the room for the man to show them where exactly Taured is. The mysterious man immediately pointed out a place in Europe, which is Andorra. He said that it is not Andorra but Taured. He also said that it was almost 1000 years ago when Andorra was changed to Taured.

The investigation went on for hours, but they got nothing from him. He repeatedly told them that he was from a place called Taured. So the authorities were forced to search his belongings. From there, they had found money from different countries. They thought that this man had a hidden agenda so they detained him. They put him in a guarded room. They gave him back his belongings. They had to think on what to do next , to know what is the purpose of the mysterious man in visiting japan.

The next morning, when they went back to the room, the mysterious man vanished. Base on their investigation, there are no sign that the man jumped from the room, or destroy the door or anything that shows he forcibly get out. The man from Taured just vanished.

There are two explanations from the people who believe to this kind of story. First one is the parallel universe. In simple explanation, somewhere in the universe, there is a place exactly the same as ours. That is where the mysterious man came from, and in that place the Andorra in our universe is called Taured. The second explanation is that the man from Taured came from the future. Maybe hundreds or thousand years from now, the Andorra will be changed to Taured.

This story may not be popular to our country or other countries but if you will go to Japan, specifically from a place near the Haneda airport, mnay people will tell you that there is indeed a man from Taured.

This story has been passed on for many years. Maybe some part of it has been changed. However, this story is one of the famous stories about time travel. I can't say that this is true nor deny the fact that it really happened. However, many people still believe in time travel. So it is up to you if you will believe it or not.
