Little Naiah

Little Naiah asked her mom, "Why should we be grateful mom? I know life is hard because you always cry."

Jana was shocked to hear this from her 6 year old daughter. First, is her, questioning the goodness of life and second, the fact that she knew that her mom cry most of the time.

It's indeed difficult to teach your children to be happy and thankful when they can witness your struggles and breakdowns. She have been married to an abbusive guy but can't let him go. Maybe because he helped her a lot before and she become dependent on him. No one knows the real reason, most of her neighbours kept on encouraging her to runaway from him and bring Naiah with her. They said that sooner or later, he might hurt his kid as well. Some even told her to report it to the police, she just can't be persuaded.

"Mommy, do we have to stay like this?"

Her tears started to fall like a rain.

"Life is indeed hard, but we should at least be grateful about the goodness of it. Because of life, I have you. I become a mom of a wonderful daughter, I am loved. I am grateful with everything even though it's difficult."

She kissed her forehead and say her good night.
