Точка неповернення Літо 2023. Запоріжжя, бульвар Тараса Шевченка. -- А кого ти порадиш з сучасних українських письменників? -- Наприклад, його, - і показую рукою на дорогу, відчуваючи себе наче магом, бо саме в цей момент там проходить Дмитро Вербич. Якби книжка була в мене, я би кинувся через терасу за автографом, але її в мене не було, тому я просто приємно здивувався цьому збігу обставин. "Точка неповернення" - один з найкращих романів, які було написано про війну. Книжка починається з того, що головний герой мандрує в горах неподалік від Мілану, але приймає рішення йти на війну. Прощається з дівчиною та колишнім життям, щоб опинитись там, де твориться світова історія. Книга насичена не лише подіями, а й філософськими роздумами, які особливо контрастують з тонами іншої пустопорожньої літератури, різних "рефлексій" які начебто теж про війну, але не варті навіть рекомендацій. Точка, видана в 2020 році, навіть зараз варта того щоб її перечитати, або щоб її відкрили для себе нові читачі, якщо вже тренд читати більше українського. Раніше я купував декілька екземплярів на подарунки, тепер цю книгу важко знайти, тираж напевне давно розпродано. Тому, сподіваюсь, "Наш Формат" зможе перевидати цю книгу!

Різдвяна Казка Різдво святкую з цим котом. В кінці року, багато людей пишуть про підсумки, плани та свої досягнення. Але я скажу інше. Одна з моїх особистих поразок як 2023 так і 2022 року - це те, що мені не вдалось забезпечити якогось "крипто-фінансування" для перемоги. Я намагався, розмовляв з десятками крипто-підприємців та представників крипто-компаній. Ті, хто з України переважно виїхали або до або після повномасштабної, частина з них "донатить", але дуже часто - це просто відмазка, або казка, хай буде різдвяна казка, бо саме в цей момент криптовалюта знову зростає. Ну не вдається, може проблема конкретно в мені - подумав я, і звернувся до компанії з якою ще працював  до мобілізації  з проханням виплатити мені зарплату трохи наперед (не вистачало на авто) - мене одразу звільнили. Нічого особистого, ринок падав, їм вигідніше найняти студентів. В 2022 навесні ринок зростав, я багато витрачав своїх коштів, але от парадокс - ціна портфоліо зростало, як і прибутки. Але ні на піку ринку, ні тим більше на падінні не вдалось залучити нічого і нікого, витрачав переважно власні кошті та й це все як крапля в морі. Можливо я розчарувався в крипто-підприємцях, але ж не в самій криптовалюті! Просто навіщо було відвідувати десятки конференцій, з яких десь 20 закордоном (від Амстердаму до Сингапуру) - якщо сенс від цих контактів мі-ні-мальний. Більше користі було від того що я вивчав економічний внесок Лі Куан Ю, або побудову шейхами міста-мрії посеред пустелі (та й ці знання навряд чи вийде колись застосувати). Вже в 2023 я відвідав декілька конференцій в Києві, і на мою думку побачив таке: стара генерація крипто-підприємців здулась, а нова ще не постала, і не стільки через брак знань, як через брак ресурсів. Також я прийшов до висновку що не треба і думати про волонтерство, розповідати що ми стримуємо путіна щоб він не пішов далі, краще - пропонувати конкретну вигоду. Київ має шанс стати новим Дубай, а крипто-вершина в Карпатах (наприклад, в районі Яремче) - альтернативою швейцарської крипто-долини Цуг. Мене дивує і водночас забавляє цей парадокс. З крипто-сфери переважно ті  хто сидять на стрімах і люблять говорити про патріотизм, вдавати з себе експерта - нічим не допомогли (дехто може ще й розжився на зібрані донати, хай це буде на їх совісті), а ледь не єдиний прихильник мого каналу і діяльності - взагалі нейтральний щодо війни. Він не вірить в перемогу України, і каже: "росія сильніше, пів світу підтримують її. Вам треба домовлятись". Але тільки він відправив мені велику суму. Не на воєнну підтримку, бо він пацифіст, а конкретно щоб підтримати мій канал та діяльність. Ми давно не спілкувались, і ось він привітав мене з Різдвом... Дякую тобі друже, хочи ти навряд чи це прочитаєш... Значить, у мене ще лишились читачі та глядачі, хоч може їх і дуже мало. Як би не було деінде, а в крипто-сфері завжди є другий шанс і нові можливості...

Полк Азов. Український націоналізм на війні **'Полк Азов'**. Український націоналізм на війні. Сьогодні отримав таку книгу (Le régiment Azov) від автора Adrien Nonjon з підписом. Так, хтось скаже: Бригада Азов, а не полк, але візьміть до уваги, що автор працював над книгою багато років, та фінальний текст був готовий ще того, як Азов став бригадою. Насправді, я думаю, що це найкраща книга про Азов та український націоналізм видана іноземною мовою. Не бачив аналогів англійською. Тут ви знайдете і ексурс в давнішу історію України, і 90ті, про праві організації вже незалежної України, від СНПУ до Патріоту України, про те підгрунтя на якому створювався Азов. Тут іноземний читач відкриє для себе і "Націократію" Сціборського, та цілий ряд українських авторів таких як Юрій Липа чи Микола Кравченко "Крук". Багато в книжці про Майдан, та політична атмосфера і ситуація досить добре передані саме в тому історично-політичному контексті. Російська пропаганда активно діє в світі, існує величезна кількість антиукраїнської літератури різними мовами. Ця книга - це серйозна інформаційна зброю в усьому франкомовному світі. Деякі постулати російської пропаганди згадані в книжці, навіть дугін згадується декілька разів, але набагато більше уваги приділено тим росіянам які пішли в Азов. Особливість цієї книжки, що велика увага приділена культурній, міжнародній та геополітичній тематиці. Тут згадуються і французькі нові праві, GRECE, Гійом Фай, і культурні ініціативи від літератури до блек метал. Часто згадується Олена Семеняка та її ініціативи: Intermarium, Reconquista, міжнародні поїздки. Напевне найголовніша особливість, що це перш за все історія Азову не лише як полку, а як Азовського руху, тому тут і про Національні дружини, про культурні, екологічні ініціативи, про партію Національний Корпус та політичну бороботьбу, про метаполітичну боротьбу. Тому закордонні читачі зрозуміють, зо Азов - це набагато більше ніж просто військові... як на мене автору вийшло передати все дуже добре. Звісно, десь можна було б зробити більший акцент саме на воєнній історії, щось чи когось можливо можна було б не згадувати, а когось навпаки згадати. Але в цілому - це чудове видання навіть як для тих хто нічого не знає про український націоналізм так і для тих хто цікавиться новітньою історією. Про останні 2 роки не так багато, але напевне повномасштабна війна варта окремої книжки, що і побажаю автору. Неодноразово раніше ми зустрічались з Адрієном в Києві, говорили про Майдан та націоналізм, і сподіваюсь побачимось знову. Завершу цей невеликий оглядам словами Адрієна з підсумків: "***Вчора батальон сотні добровольців, сьогодні бригада кількістю понад 5000 людей, Азов становить знакову силу російсько-українського конфлікту***".

Optimism Governance: Becoming Delegate and Voting It's been a while since I heard about Optimism but I became more interested only recently. Actually what motivated me is that I got some OP (Optimism tokens) from Publish0x - crypto blog platform where users can earn some crypto by writing and reading posts. That was a good idea that Publish0x switched to Optimism as currency for rewarding users. So I withdrew 4.94 OP (which is at the moment of writing $8.77) and this was enough for me to start using Optimism governance. https://www.publish0x.com/?a=3YaOzqgexq Optimism Agora is now in BETA, but at first glance, everything is working fine. https://vote.optimism.io/ The website says that: OP Delegates are the stewards of the Optimism Token House, appointed by token holders to make governance decisions on their behalf. So if you are just a token holder and don't plan to vote - you can delegate your OP and it will give the voting power to your delegate. If you want to become a Delegate yourself - you need to issue a "Delegate statement" and create your profile. Cardano ADA handle and ADA mail In Eternl wallet which I use the most for Cardano transactions, I noticed the new feature - the possibility to create ADA mail and ADA hadle. So I decided to create both and share my experience with my readers. You can create ADA mail and ADA hadle just from Eternl wallet, it will redirect you to the site where you can proceed with creation process. **ADA hadle** As you can see from the image, I paid 20 ADA and received 1 back with token. "Необмежена війна" написана двома китайськими полковниками, та розглядає тематику як слабша нація може виграти війну в сильнішої різними засобами окрім як прямими воєнними діями (політичними, економічними, навіть - юридичними). In addition to functioning like a cafe, library, and center for events, it will be also a volunteer center - providing some food, and water for local people who will be in need. **[IMPACT] Please define the positive impact your project will have on the wider Cardano community.** This project will have 2 big dimensions of impact: The local adoption of Cardano Social and volunteer impact, as such cafes are in big need in the east of Ukraine Regarding 1 dimension - I think Cardano is underrepresented in Ukraine, a lot of people even from the crypto community are not knowledgeable about Cardano, and they are unaware of all the opportunities that Project Catalyst has. Regarding 2 dimensions - this question might look geopolitical. In Project Catalyst millions of ADA were distributed to different geographies. I had "Cardano Hub" proposal in Fund1 and later through funds I had a different proposal related to local incentives in Ukraine but none of them were supported by votes... That's why the question of whether to vote or not - remains open to you **[CAPABILITY & FEASIBILITY] What is your capability to deliver your project with high levels of trust and accountability? How do you intend to validate if your approach is feasible?** I'm in Catalyst since Fund1 and l have studied the Cardano ecosystem for years. I participated in and organized Cardano events, I also studied the technical part. Last years I drove all around Ukraine, I know the local people, the atmosphere, specifics, and I know such a project is in need now. In 2019 I created a literature crypto-bar Knygarium at the center of Kyiv, which even though it doesn't exist now, was very bright economic experiment during less than 1 year of existence we conducted around hundred of events So I have experience of running physical cafe location and I know all the local specifics **[Project Milestones] What are the key milestones you need to achieve in order to complete your project successfully?** **Milestone 1** The first milestone is to choose the perfect location. I think this project represents Amazing value for money, as it will scale Cardano presence and adoption in Ukraine and will (at least minimally) help the local economy. In comparison, I remember in Catalyst few funds ago there was a project for 1 or 2 days conference in US. That project had a budget $200 000 Just to compare - Cardano Cafe, Cardano Hub in Ukraine can exist a Decade with this amount of money. But it won't need additional funds as in 1 year it will become self-sustainable.

We can also take into account that each video will be shared twice (as a video and then as a text version) on 15+ crypto blogs. So 770/30 = $25 (so that's only 19 dollars per publication) And finally speaking, this is something I enjoy doing for free. Yes, I will continue this activity anyway. But if we have Cardano Open category - why not try to get funding for doing what you like?..

Делегація до США? Делегація, безперечно потрібна, але в такій делегації мали б бути військові, а не депутати. Лише на днях в новинах пройшла інформація про корупцію і судові справи щодо 2х народних депутатів. В першому випадку було б навіть смішно, що депутат підкупив Мустафу Наєма біткойном. Було б смішно, якби не було так сумно. І перж за все віж того, що поки деякі воюють - інші отримують посади ("вічний реформатор" якщо хтось не знає очолює Державне агенство з відновлення). Нинішній склад Верховної Ради найгірший в професійному плані, і обирався в 2019 році, коли ситуація була зовсім інша. Зараз за моїми спостереженнями, рейтинг довіри до Верховної Ради знову дуже низький. Офісу Президента було б варто переглянути кадрову політику, таке враження, що його спеціально підставляють з цими призначеннями (і це в час коли відбулось зростання націоналізму) Варто було б призначати на посади військових, поранених, демобілізованих. Cardano ebook marketplace - Project Catalyst Fund11 Proposal Cardano DAO - Project Catalyst, right now there is Fund11 and I'm sharing my proposal with you, my readers. Cryptocurrency and Cardano can easily solve these problems. Cardano community is special as we really have a lot of smart people here, a lot of people who really read a lot of books (and of course we also have people who write books). We even used to have "Catalyst Book Club" in the past. So even if we would have this project only for our community - this would be something useful. However, Cardano ebook marketplace will reach the biggest audience: readers and book buyers from all over the world. This will scale Cardano usage and will bring new people to the Cardano ecosystem **[CAPABILITY & FEASIBILITY] What is your capability to deliver your project with high levels of trust and accountability? How do you intend to validate if your approach is feasible?** I think my capability is good enough, as I'm long time Catalyst participant (3 years, since the beginning, since Fund1) Also I have 7 years in blockchain (research, marketing, content) And what I will add, as this is related to ebook niche: 33 years in Books (as a reader) - as I started to read a 4 years old And approximately 20+ years as a writer (of course my first novels and poetry are not published, but I have overall many publications in different literature magazines, sites: 2 books in print and several ebook and I'm planning to publish more) I always stay in touch with Cardano community, and regularly publish crypto blogs and social media on Cardano topic and other blockchain subjects. I encourage feedback and I invite those who like this idea - to join my efforts if this proposal is successful. I'm confident that as Cardano Use Case Concept this project will do well. The difficulties might appear on the later stage, as it's really hard to compete with Amazon. It's not to easy to attract big amounts of publishers, writers and readers. But as the Use Case Concept, I'm confident we need something like this in Cardano ecosystem - and if I don't win - maybe somebody else will use this or similar idea **[Project Milestones] What are the key milestones you need to achieve in order to complete your project successfully?** **Milestone 1** Creation of big research of online publishing opportunities for writers and online research on the existing ebook marketplaces (not only Amazon, which remains the leader but other platforms like Kobo). Some the I have already tried and tested, but this research will be both theoretical and practical (either me or somebody from the team will register on every site and will try selling ebooks). Also, we'll need to know the opportunity and competitive advantage where Cardano ebook marketplace might emerge (i.e. maybe it will be reasonable to select some specialization for ebook genre: fiction or non-fiction, maybe some non-English writers, etc.) **Milestone 2:** Creation of a marketplace of electronic books which will connect writers, small publishing houses, and readers. Creation of a web-site, integration of Cardano as main payment method. **Milestone 3:** The analysis of site as MVP, testing user experience. The research on the further site updates: Creation of dapp which will utilize ADA as payment, creation and usage of Cardano native asset, NFT minting. The outreach of new intellectuals, writers, bloggers and new audiences and the readers to find books. **Milestone 4:** Research on the idea of focusing on "The social network and blog platform for intellectuals" There might be either your own blog platform with a native token, distributed for rewards, or it can be integrated with existing platforms like Hive, ReadCash, Lbry. This might become the combination of social network and blog platform for the intellectuals in the broad term of this world: people who like to read and write. Authors could build communities and follower base around their books, ideas, etc. Example use-case: Ron Paul de-platformed. But his team members kept account on Cardano ebook site. He's now active there, and people come and support him, including financial support with ADA, native tokens. There could be certain features, like an easier way to speak with your author if you are his/her supporter, or like in this example - maybe join a political campaign. Merchandise can be sold as well as Ron Paul NFTs, and many things can be invented **Milestone 5** Research on the idea: **Investment platform - invest in your favorite digital authors** What if you like and admire some author, but he drinks a lot, and spent all his crypto. But still, you like him and what to support. The author is broke now and he'd rather focus on writing new books than looking for another job. He is sure he has enough supporters like you, so he puts his future book shares for sale (selling 30-40%). This is of course confirmed by a smart-contract written on Marlowe and the details are flexible to setup and protected from future changes by blockchain. Of course, there is always a risk that this writer won't finish his book. Example use-case: Charles Hoskinson wants to buy new land close to his farm, but he doesn't want to sell his ADA. He announced that he's writing the "Blockchain Governance" book and there is a high chance it will become a bestseller. He is selling only 5% of his book shares, but apart from tokenized participation in the future profits, he also puts a feature that everyone who contributed 10K ADA or more will have a special recognition badge during his AMAs and a dedicated signed paperback copy. **Final Milestone:** The final milestone will be ready-to use MVP: site, platform with electronic book with no less than 100 active writers, hundreds of ebooks available for sale and hundreds or thousands of users/readers. Also we will have researches ready and the clear direction of what to do in order to scale (i.e. apply for Catalyst funding, apply for VC investment, apply for crowdfunding or ISPO model, etc.) **[BUDGET & COSTS] Please provide a cost breakdown of the proposed work and resources.** The cost breakdown is as follows: Research on existing ebook marketplaces: 1500 ADA Cardano ebook marketplace creation (development costs): 12000 ADA Web-site hosting, domain, and technical costs: 1000 ADA Testing, UI/UX: 2000 ADA Cardano community engagement rewards: 1000 ADA Other research/opportunities: 5500 ADA Project management and Catalyst management reward: 2999 ADA Total: 25 999 ADA **[VALUE FOR MONEY] How does the cost of the project represent value for money for the Cardano ecosystem?** At the moment of submitting this proposal, 25 999 ADA is $9679 which is even modest amount compared to many other proposals. I see tremendous value for the Cardano ecosystem - as this project will both create new Dapp and will attract many new users, some of whom are completely new to the cryptocurrency world. Саме з передостаннього розділу я почав читати книгу, і навіть для українських читачів там можна знайти дещо нове (я наприклад не був в курсі, що затримка з наданням літаків американцями пов'яана з домовленістю, що китайці вплинуть на росіян щоб вони не використовували ядерну зброю). Петреус правильно підмітив, що жоден політичний лідер в Україні з 1991 року не зробив так багато для популяризації українського націоналізму, як путін здійснивши вторгнення. Також Петреус стверджує, що впродовж історії результат військових змагань вирішувався не стільки балансом матеріальних ресурсів, як креативністю та визначеністю того, як ці ресурси були використані. Як на мене, місцями оцінка генерала аж надто оптимістична, він багато говорить про російську корупцію в армії, як один з важливих чинників... але загалом розділ про Україну - це напевне те, що варто радити англомовним читачам, особливо тим, хто не дуже багато знає про нашу війну. Job market - the need for Crypto alternative In this short article, I will provide one more example why we need crypto alternative for Job/Work sites. Especially after Covid times the nunber of freelancers and remote work increased. I already wrote about many reasons why we need crypto alternative. Some of the sites existed, some of them I checked but still we have nothing big. We don't have any big site which will have enough supply and demand for remote work. But we really need even Upwork alternative. Today I tried to access my Upwork account and I was surprised that it's suspended. So more than 10 years of work and history gone at once. With no reason. With no e-mail informing me about it. When I searched in my mailbox I discovered that last days I stopped receiving newsletter from Upwork, but I didn't notice it as I have busy period now. Also I wasn't actively using Upwork for weeks or even months. That's why for suspension I see no reason. I submitted appeal, contacted support, we'll see how it goes. But this personal example shows me that centralized companies like Upwork can shut down your profile, destroy your reputation and kill your income at once. Fortunately, I didn't have funds there at Upwork at this moment and I didn't have big projects ongoing now. But still I had open contracts and some freelance work - the suspension of my account for sure brought some harm for me. During more than 10 years I accumulated many contacts, some of which became my regular clients, for example on consulting about cryptocurrencies. They could contact me any time. But they can't contact now, as my account doesn't exist right now. This is the fragility and risk which is present actually for everyone who uses Upwork and similar services. What if my agency there would be middle size business with dozens of people who rely on it, expect salaries, etc?.. Everything would die at one moment. That's I prefer to work directly with those whom I know or those whom I will find. In case with new people it's not so easy to establish trust, but cryptocurrency world has solutions for this - reputation systems, escrows, etc. The problem is that we need more adoption. I prefer to work with cryptocurrencies, and not to pay 10-20% Upwork fees, not to wait weeks for receiving payment. That's why if they won't restore my account - I will survive somehow. Yes, it will be sad that more than 10 years of work history, Top rated status, hundreds of positive reviews... in a way all this is a capital which I accumulated during these times and now all gone without even notifying me?.. That's the price for learning that big tech companies can be evil. Yes Upwork acted evil towards me. And in past I even spoke at Upwork events as one of Top rated freelancers! Back then there were not so many Top rated freelancers. Many times I visited Upwork corporate events in Ukraine. And now when there are hard times in Ukraine - they are destroying profiles of Ukrainian freelancers... Ok, noted. So what conclusion can I make: always try to avoid middleman when possible, always choose decentralized services when possible, diversify your sources of income, always prefer crypto than fiat... and some day maybe we'll come up with alternative!

Maidan - 10 years later This November, like 10 years ago, the politics smells very much in the air. Only now, the politics continue with other means (according to Carl von Clausewitz). Generations of young people who do not remember Maidan have already grown, because when those who are now 18 years old, then were 8 and those events, if they remember, they remember them from television. For some reason, now I return to those events. I returned to them when I gave lectures to personnel. I was thinking that it is easy for me to talk about that period because I still remember a lot of moments, it is easier for me to talk about these events compared to others where I was not present personally. But I return to these events that the Maidan outlined as the geopolitical vector of Ukraine. No, it is not a vector for European integration, it is not a vector of affirmation of international policy, it is a vector of break - a break with the past - with the russian federation. From that time, russia's hybrid war against Ukraine takes a new form. Because the war never ended, it took only other forms. Thinking about the last 10 years, we understand that everything could be much better, but everything could be much worse. So far, we have lost part of the territory but defended independence. This year I went to the "Last Barricade", it is a restaurant that is right under the Maidan in the Globus. I have been there tens of times, but this time showing Kyiv to a friend from another city, I asked for a tour. They talk about the "revolution on granite", the Orange Revolution, and Maidan "Revolution of Dignity". Similar 5-minute excursions were held by for many foreigners with whom I went to this restaurant earlier. But this time - the content did not please me. Here is Doniy, here is Bernard Henri Levi, here is a framework for the post of Mustafa Nayem, from which the Maidan seemed to begin. If you listen to this, it may seem that the Maidan was a liberal party of eternal reformers, who then eventually came the power for a while and at least somehow. But now they are "in power" somewhere in the mainstream. Nationalism may seem popular and fashionable now. Unfortunately, the nationalists could not fully use the achievements of the "Revolution of Dignity" - and too many scoundrels remained in power, or they came to power covered with the Maidan brand. I always thought that political struggle is no less important than military struggle. With risk and danger, the desire for power is activated, including in its practical aspect - the acquisition of positions, opportunities, and resources. What if the victory on the front fails to fix it politically? Without focusing on any specific purpose, or even more, the reproaches of political freaks from the past that split society, I return mentally to the times 10 years ago. The Maidan has not yet outlined the purpose of Ukraine, and unfortunately did not lead to the rotation of the elites, but it determined what would no longer be - there will be no dominance of pro -russian forces in Ukraine, there will be no customs unions and "CIS". Therefore, the Maidan was an important stage in the history of Ukraine. And this Maidan was geopolitical.

Майдан - 10 років потому Цього листопаду як і 10 років тому в повітрі дуже сильно пахне політикою. Тільки тепер політика продовжується іншими засобами (за Карлом фон Клаузевіцом).  Вже виросло покоління молоді, які не пам'ятають Майдан, адже коли тим кому зараз 18 років, тоді було - 8 і ті події, якщо вони й пам”ятають, то як ефіри з телебачення. Чомусь саме зараз я вертаюсь до тих подій подумки. Я вертався до них коли читав лекції особовому складу. Я ловив себе на думці, що мені легко говорити про той період, адже багато моментів я до сих пір яскраво пам’ятаю, мені легше говорити про ці події в порівнянні з іншими, де я не був присутній особисто.  Але я повертаюсь до цих подій, що саме Майдан окреслив геополітичний вектор України. Ні, це не вектор на європейську інтеграцію, це взагалі не вектор ствердження міжнародної політики, це вектор розриву - розриву з минулим - з російською федерацією. З цього ж часу гібридна війна росії проти України набирає іншої, нової форми. Бо війна ніколи не закінчувалась, вона набирала лише інших форм. Думаючи про останні 10 років, ми розуміємо, що все могло бути набагато краще, але все могло б бути й набагато гірше. Поки що ми втратили частину території, але відстояли незалежність. В цьому році я заходив в “Останню Барикаду”, це ресторан який знаходиться прямо під Майданом в Глобусі. Десятки разів я там бував раніше, але цього разу показуючи Київ знайомим з іншого міста я попросив екскурсію. Там розказують про “Революцію на граніті”, Помаранчеву революцію та Майдан “Революцію Гідності”. Подібні 5 хвилинні екскурсії проходило багато знайомих іноземців з якими я заходив в цей заклад раніше. Але саме цього разу - зміст мене не порадував. Ось Доній, ось Бернар Анрі Леві, ось в рамці пост Мустафи Наєма, з якого начебто розпочався Майдан. Якщо прослухати таке - може скластись враження, що Майдан це була якась ліберальна тусовка вічних реформаторів, які потім в результаті дорвались до влади хоч на якийсь час і хоч якось. Та вони й зараз десь там “при владі”, десь в мейнстрімі.  Націоналізм, може здатись, зараз популярним і модним. Але на жаль, націоналісти не змогли в повній мірі скористатись здобутками “Революції гідності” - і забагато негідників лишились при владі, або й прийшли прикриваючись брендом Майдану. Я завжди думав, що боротьба політична не менш важлива ніж боротьба військова.  В моменти ризику і небезпеки, жадання влади активізовується, в тому числі в практичному своєму аспекті - здобутті посад, можливостей і ресурсів. Що буде, якщо перемогу на фронті не вдасться закріпити політично? Не акцентуючи на якихось конкретних призначеннях, чи тим більше закидах політичних фріків з минулого, які розколюють суспільство, я повертаюсь подумки в часи 10 років тому.  Майдан ще не окреслив Призначення України, і на жаль не призвів до ротації еліт, але він визначив те, чого вже не буде - не буде домінування проросійських сил в Україні, не буде ніяких митних союзів та “СНД”. Тому Майдан був важливим етапом в історії України. І цей Майдан був Геополітичний.

Unsuccessful Investments. Astroport - Continuation, reinvestment I've been looking at assets/projects in the Cosmos ecosystem recently. With Cosmos (ATOM) or other cryptocurrencies, you can sometimes get an airdrop. This is another topic, but while browsing the projects or even doing some minimal exchange/staking - I was drawn to the Astroport platform and this time I successfully exchanged my tokens, first to one of the stablecoins and then to LUNA. It turned out to be 67.59 LUNA, which at the moment as I write these lines - is around $51. Yes, these days there was a rise, especially in some cryptocurrencies, and LUNA also rose. I write this primarily as an example of high volatility and an example of reinvestment which I've done. Unlike the lost money from the second example (Metaplex), where if I had not sold immediately - now everything would be a little different, this time I decided to keep the funds in cryptocurrency. Falling "only 4 times" from $200 to $50 is psychologically much better than going down to 35... also I consider it highly likely that when the whole market goes up, LUNA will go up as well. Sometimes in investments, I rely on my own intuition or some historical and associative moments. I lost in the Terra(LUNA) ecosystem on this investment, but I lost much more on LUNA itself and the Anchor protocol. On April 6, 2022, the price of LUNA was $116, today (November 15, 2023) it is only $0.76. It is somewhere in this interval that I see the price that may arise in the next upswing of the market. Or already after the collapse, after the "restoration" of LUNA (because now, in addition to the "restored" one, there is also LUNC- Terra Luna Classic, the price of which is $0.00008244 today), on September 11, 2022, the price of LUNA was $6.40. Rather, I see the future price somewhere between 1-6 dollars. So, I staked these 67.59 LUNA (now staking yield is 7% per annum), and then I will combine them with the amount I have left from the past. Perhaps, when all the other texts are ready and the book is ready for publication, I will follow up and return to the result of this investment.

Це вже інша тематика, але переглядаючи проекти чи навіть здійснюючи якийсь мінімальний обмін/стейкінг - мене занесло на платформу Astroport і цього разу я успішно поміняв свої токени, спочатку на один з видів стейблкойну, а потім на LUNA. Вийшло в районі 67.59 LUNA, що на даний момент як я пишу ці рядки - в районі $51. Так, саме ці дні відбувалось зростання, особливо деяких криптовалют, і LUNA також виросла. Я це пишу перш за все, як приклад високої волатильності та приклад переінвестування. На відміну від втрачених грошей з другого прикладу (Metaplex), де також, якби я не продавав одразу - зараз все було б трошки інакше, цього разу я вирішив лишити кошти в криптовалюті. Падіння “лише в 4 рази” з $200 до $50 психологічно набагато краще ніж до 35… також я розцінюю велику вірогідність, що коли весь ринок виросте, то й LUNA також підніметься.  Іноді в інвестиціях я покладаюсь на власну інтуїцію, або якісь історіично-асоціативні моменти. На цій інвестиції я втратив в екосистемі Terra(LUNA), але я набагато більше втратив на самій LUNA та Anchor protocol.  6 квітня 2022 року ціна LUNA була $116, сьогодні (15 листопада 2023) лише $0.76. Ось десь в цьому проміжку я й бачу ціну, яка може виникнути в наступному підйомі ринку. Або от вже після краху, після “відновлення” LUNA (бо тепер існує крім “відновленої” ще й  LUNC- Terra Luna Classic, ціна якої на сьогодні $0.00008244), 11 вересня 2022 ціна LUNA була $6.40. Швидше я вбачаю майбутню ціну десь між 1-6 доларами.  Отже ці 67.59 LUNA я застейкав (зараз стейкінг приносить 7% річних), і потім я об”єднаю їх з тією сумою, що залишилась у мене з минулого. Можливо, коли вже всі інші тексти будуть готові, і книжка буде готова до публікації, я ще простежу і повернусь до результату цієї інвестиції.

Kyiv Autumn Solitude It was really sad to leave Kyiv. I don’t know if that’s the case for other people who admire Kyiv, but I always missed this amazing city when I was traveling. This feeling that I would see Kyiv soon was even creating some kind of pleasure that sometimes I even created a list of things “To Do in Kyiv”. Because Kyiv always provides a big variety of places and huge options for how to spend free time. Anyway, Kyiv has the biggest concentration of interesting people, beautiful girls, professional and personal opportunities, and the biggest concentration of capital.  The day before my long trip, I went for a long walk in the center of Kyiv. I showed part of Kyiv to one of my friends who came to visit for a few days. We started to walk from Saksahanskoho Street, went through Shota Rustaveli, then Baseina Street to Khreshatyk. My idea was to walk via “Glass” bridge and to walk back from another side of Khreshatyk. It was raining - perfect weather. But there was not so much time so we stopped at Maidan and went to drink coffee at the “Last Barricade”. I asked the girl who worked there to make an excursion. In the past, they used to make such excursions very often for foreigners. Now Kyiv has a much smaller amount of foreign guests. This time the way they speak about Maidan (Revolution of dignity) resonated with what I had in mind, this liberal pop-culture focus - here is the post of shitty journalist, here is this… No, No, I must republish my book about Maidan and this is one of the ideas I want to focus on in future writings.  I slept only a few hours, preparing my things, and early morning I left Kyiv. I stopped for coffee and a hot-dog on Klo station just after the Southern Bridge. This is a big gas station with not so many visitors (because Southern bridge is still semi-closed for most of the people). Nice view of the Dnipro river and the right bank - I see from there Lysa hora (bold mountain) and skyscrapers.  This time I don’t put my trip on Blablacar, I need to drive to one place before and anyway I have a lot of things with me. Before Kharkiv, I stopped at the OKKO station to drink free coffee and eat a free hot dog. At the end of Kharkiv city, I stopped once again at another Okko. It’s getting dark soon and for me, it seems that it might be my last stop at “civilization”.  In Kyiv one might have the feeling that there is no war, life is almost like before. With some differences. For example, curfew hour which starts at midnight, then the absence of flights. On the streets there are more expensive cars and more electric vehicles - this means that somehow a part of the people manage to earn good money and somehow the economy is keeping up or even growing. Kyiv is anyway big megapolis, and I have no doubts about its great future.   One of the French “petite bourgeois” wanted to meet, but not this time, I already left the city. I’m checking how is he doing, as I remember a few years before the full-scale invasion, he bought 2 apartments in Kyiv. Of I think he was lucky to find for 60K in the center, so now he responds: “If I sell my apartment one day, unless there is a catastroph, it will not be less than 100 K$”.  Now he plans to rent it and in case of real estate, Kyiv was a very good location before the full-scale invasion but for some people it remains so now. For example in this case, the guy could sell it with a profit, but he doesn’t want and prefers to rent. A small chance that russian rocket will destroy it remains. Already now russians (or faggots as they are called here) activated their strikes on Ukrainian capital.  Fall is probably the perfect time for Kyiv, and this October and November were very warm. So if you were planning to visit - maybe it’s a good time now? The winter might be dark, cold, and not cozy. But while it’s still autumn - you might come.  And I will join you in your walks in Kyiv distantly, checking tons of photos that I accumulated during the last years.
