Metaverse and Murder: What's the Punishment for Killing an Avatar?

On the other hand, improved optics might be all that is necessary to make the metaverse bigger than the internet. Among the top 5 metaverse jobs expected to explode are Metaverse Research Scientist and NFT Strategist. Hope for the perpetually unemployed. But … what everyone really wants to know is if you can be punished for murdering someone in the metaverse. The arguments for punishment go in a different direction than I expected, but I can see the logic.
