Rumors of Coinbase insolvency are growing. It was bound to happen. Shutting down its U.S. affiliate program didn’t help. Coinbase gets regulatory approval in Italy. While Coinbase seems to be experiencing trouble in the U.S., it’s expanding globally.
Binance CEO Changpeng Zhao called his company a pure Web3 company and has no interest in selling shares of stock. This is in response to FTX’s move to offer stock trading. It has nothing to do with whether Binance will ever go public, although I suspect that CZ has no interest in doing that either as a “pure Web3 company.”
Ripple cofounder Jed McCaleb has stopped selling his XRP and now holds just 46.7 XRP in his wallet. After all, it could rally. It will have to rally like a tsunami for 46.7 XRP to be worth anything, and if it rallies that much, it will rise to the top 3 again. I wouldn’t expect that to happen until after the SEC v. Ripple case is completed. Even then, it may take years.
