Hello guys. Today I just wanna share with you a short story of my personal experience using the Celsius Wallet. If you don't know what it is, you can check it by yourself by visiting their website, where you'll find all the detailed information.
They also have a very active community on Twitter and YouTube, where they do an AMA every Friday. I gotta say that for me, seeing this kind of commitment gives me a sense of security that just isn't there for other apps.
What's cool about Celsius you may ask?
Well, for starters, it is a super secure wallet. Of course that, by being it sort of CeFi, you are not the direct owner of the wallet keys... I know some people like to think that "Not your keys, not your crypto". And they may be right up to certain point, but in my personal experience I've had 0 issues and what's more, it happened that one time a transaction kinda got "lost" and the support kindly worked it trough to find the coins (a bit of ETH).
And perhaps the most attractive feature: you gain money just by holding crypto. If you were to buy, let's say, some BTC and just hodl it, chances are that in a year time or so you'll end up having much more money (compared vs USD) just because of Bitcoin own appreciation over time. But imagine that on top of that, you get weekly rates that keeps on adding to the stake of coins.
Another interesting thing is their native coin (the CEL Token), which has had an AMAZING development over the last year. It started somewhere around October of 2019, with an initial value of 0,1 USD. Nowadays it is worth 4,91 USD at the time of writing this, with an ATH of 7USD this January. Predictions are wild about it's future value and there are some fanatics on Twitter saying it will reach over 100USD by December. I'm a bit skeptic about that one, but for sure that it has a long way up and chances are that in a year time it will at least double its value (so, let's say you were to buy 2000USD worth of CEL... Just by holding it you'll be making a 100% gain... What bank can match that?).
And in addition to those features, they are constantly putting promo codes where you get a reward of BTC by doing a transfer of a certain amount of crypto (worth in USD values).
So... in resume, it is like Disneyland for HODLERS. So you might as well check it out, give it a try... Maybe in no time you'll be buying their merchandise hahaha.
