It's been a week since I started my Crypt-OC-tober entry and I haven't finished it yet π. Here's the work in progress pic of my OC. I started painting the hair and laid the base colors even though the design on each part may change. #artpark #art #wip

Here is my progress since I started to practice last year during pandemic. I practiced drawing hair at that time and was really upset after I uploaded the picture because you can't see the details on her hair. My monitor wasn't placed properly at an eye level so the brightness/darkness of the color doesn't match when I look at it on a different device. I still have a lot of things to learn and improve on my drawing/painting skills. I haven't learned yet the anatomy of the legs and feet and I still struggle drawing the anatomy of the body and arms xD My Crypt-OC-tober is still a WIP and I have a hard time drawing wings that will fit well with the concept. I'm also busy on the A.I. game scholarship.

This is one of my drawing practice on hair way before the Arthur Leywin prompt. Drawing hair is one of my weakness and I wanted to fix that. I also wanted to learn different hairstyles cause I always tend to draw similar styles xD. If you scroll down on my IG, I posted one of my first hair drawing practice and it looked so awful xD. That was also the time I realized that I need to learn the basics/fundamentals of drawing. Also the last pic is a sneak peek of what I've been drawing recently. It's time to Meet The Artist (Crazyan03) - ArtPark Edition I made my own template and made it simpler. I just included the likes and dislikes and the General info of the artist. I always love drawing when I was young even though I'm not good at it :D. I remember drawing disney characters and some anime characters, sadly I don't have those artworks anymore. The artists that I looked up to are Artgerm, Kuvshinov Ilya, WLOP, and Guweiz. These were the ones that influenced me on how I draw/paint. There are more artists I found this year that I liked their art style like NIXEU, wataboku, Hama._.Guri, 9999mm_e, lil.milkyskin, dadachyo, and pilyeon_00. I did this portrait study a couple of months ago and forgot to post it. I love how the light follows the contour of her face and that's why I picked this image cause I think it's a good challenge/practice for me. I stylized the image a little bit and I remember painting this directly without sketching. I struggled a lot on painting the light on her Tank Top. Characters from Tokyo Revengers are this week's DTIYS prompt. The first characters that came to my mind were Mikey and Draken but I just can't forget the events that happened to Baji Keisuke (it made my eyes wet π) so I chose him instead of the two. I really love the outcome of this artwork. This week's challenge is a new art trend in the social media world called Jack-O pose/challenge. It is based on the game character Jacko-O Valentine from Guilty Gear. Since the origin of the pose is from a game, I decided to choose a game character to do the pose. I drew YoRha No.2 Type-B (or 2b for short) from the game NieR Automata. I have never played this game but I have watched a vtuber playing it and I've been wanting to draw her since that day. The pose was very challenging to draw especially her back and the design on it. It took me several tries to draw it and I'm still not satisfied on how it looks right now. #DigitalARTcheck @EAMM posted this Digital Art Check challenge and I decided to join. Favorite Art: This artwork here is the very first time I started learning drawing heads the proper way. I really love how I colored it and of course I drew my fave kpop singer xD. Least Favorite Art: Actually, this is my second least favorite because I already used my very least Favorite art on Anatomy Error spot. The reason why this artwork took this spot is because of how I plain is her hair is and I think it doesn't look like Rukia. Took The Shortest: Honestly I don't remember which artwork took the shortest, but I think this one took the spot because I only did a simple shading and a simple pose. Took The Longest: Same as the previous one, I don't really remember. I chose this because of the details I included on this artwork. I remember how I struggled coloring the mechanism on his hips and his sword. Sketch: This is a sketch I did on a vtuber during her anniversary stream last aug 23. I haven't posted it here, but I posted this on my alt twitter account. Just For Fun: I think this is the one I did just for fun. I wanted to try coloring my artwork without doing the line art and really had fun doing it. Oldest art: I think I never posted/shared this art in any art/social platform. Originally this was done traditionally and then I decided to color it digitally so I took a pic of it and transferred it on my computer. I did this way back 2010 and I didn't like the face especially the eyes, so I didn't share it anywhere. It looked decent because I copied it from a reference. Anatomy Error: I think this one is the most noticeable anatomy error I did. The Foreshortening of the arm is really horrible. Gore/Edgy I don't think I have posted this one here on Noise, but I posted it on another social/blogging platforms. I think I drew this because I wanted to make a version of my zombie (which is my profile pic here) that is not cartoony. This is one of the few drawings that I drew that is Gore/edgy. --- I wanted to include my jack o pose WIP here but the sketch is too yabai for noise right nowπ #ArtPark

Emoji to OC 4 This week is the Emoji to OC challenge and the 3 emojis are Clown π€‘, Thumbs up π, and a Bee π. I drew a not so scary Clown and instead of the red and white colors of a clown, I used the colors of the Bee. I also made the clown's eyes a Hexagonal shape. The Thumbs up in my drawing is more like pointing at the stage/backstage. I'm really satisfied with how the final result looks even though I'm not that confident of the shadows on the clown's chest/body. #DTIYSWeek20 Portgas D. Ace (Entry) Ahoy! Welcome on board the pirate ship xD It's Ace from ONE PIECE Anime is this week's prompt. I don't know if I have mentioned this on the #DTIYS Boa post, but I have only watched a few episodes/seasons of One Piece. I don't remember seeing this character but I heard about him being brothers with Luffy and that's all about it. He looks like a cool person though. I was not satisfied with the character's pose, even though I was practicing some gestures this week. Without the flame, he looked like he's doing a interpretative dance with his pose xD. #DYMStuff2 Entry Draw your own monster challenge is back this week on artpark but this time it's stuffed toy style. I drew a simple spiky eyeball monster and it is inspired on the ghosts in the Pacman game. The eyeball floats and glows brightly in the dark, and it also emits light in its pupil like a flashlight. When in hunt, it uses it spikes to kill its prey. I'm not sure if this looks like a stuffed toy, but if ever this is turned into one, it will be possible. And it is also possible now to make a stuffed toy glow using lights. #EmojiToOC3 entry I thought I can't participate in this week's Artpark challenge because of the contest that we artpark peeps joined, but I manage to finish it though it's a bit rushed. Oh before I forget, the 3 emojis for this challenge are Rocket, Fountain, and Girl (πβ²π©). I think this is the most challenging Emoji to OC yet. I drew a Girl holding a Rocket Launcher and styled her hair like a Fountain. I had to search for this if there such a hairstyle called Fountain and it really exist xD. DTIYS #18, Edward Elric (Entry) Wow, time flies so fast and it's the last DTIYS for the month of july. The reference for this week's DTIYS is Edward Elric from Fullmetal Alchemist. I have heard about this anime like 10 or 11 years ago when I was active on deviant art and Edward Elric was one the characters that's very famous among artist to draw. I haven't watch the anime yet, but I've watched the Live action of this anime. I was really struggling on what pose to draw this time. The initial plan was to draw him like in a prayer pose, but I didn't like it because the pose is very common if you search for a reference/fan art of him. Luckily I saw a reference(a toy model) that inspired me to draw this pose. DTIYS #17 Rurouni Kenshin/Samurai X This week's DTIYS is from the anime Samurai X/Rurouni Kenshin and we are freely to choose what Character to draw. It was really hard for me to choose a Character because there's a lot of them that I like from the main characters and from the villains. I decided to go for Megumi Takani cause I kinda like her character, she's kinda the female version of kenshin, seeking atonement for what she have done in the past. Anyways, I kinda figure out the coloring technique that I was aiming for on my Emoji to OC entry. I'm still not sure if 1 layer is the way to go but I'm satisfied on how it turned out. This week's Artpark challenge is to draw your own monster in Pokemon style. I made my monster based on a Sloth animal and the monster's name is Slowth. Slowth has a special move called fastbreak, a move that can slow time around a certain radius so it can move faster and it runs on it's hind legs while using it's claws on his hands when attacking enemies. There's another version of this where I made some of the trails move. 3 Emoji to OC #2 It is time again to draw an Original Character based on these 3 emojis: caterpillar π, oni πΉ, and bikini π. I drew an Innocent looking Oni in it's human form, enjoying the beautiful weather on a lake. Her name is Ohnee (I'm really bad at naming things xD) She's the Guardian and Ruler of this lake for a millennia. The lake is also a gateway to the spirit world and her caterpillar necklace is the key to open it. I really wanted to try a coloring style with desaturated colors, but I just couldn't figure out how to do it using the brush available on medibang and I end up doing what I'm comfortable with. DTIYS #15 Esdeath / Akame Ga Kill Here is my entry for this week's Do This In Your Style challenge and the reference is Esdeath from Akame Ga Kill. This was one of the random anime that I've watched before and I was really confused of who is the MC, if it's tatsumi or akame or maybe both π€. I drew Esdeath in her side profile just to practice as I rarely draw this angle. I also used another application to add a glare effect and it is called Photopea. It's a graphic/photo editing website that looks like photoshop, too bad I can't draw with it because of my potato PC. DTIYS #15 Sung Jin Woo This week's reference is Sung Jin Woo from a Korean Manhwa, Solo Leveling. I did some sketch of him carrying a long sword but after reading @Hanzell's post that the MC have different versions of himself. DTIYS #14 Trese This week's challenge is kinda special because we're drawing characters from a Filipino comics and now turned into a Netflix anime series called Trese. Choosing a character to draw was a bit hard because there are a lot of good character design that I like, but I decided to draw Alexandra Trese based on a scene in the last episode where she looked really bad ass sitting on a skeleton throne. Artpark's DTIYS is back for the rest of the month and the reference is Levi Ackerman from AOT. I actually did two sketches, the first sketch was him wearing his uniform but I scrapped it coz I already drew Eren wearing those and decided to draw Levi wearing a suit. I always use a lot of layers when coloring the character, usually I separate the hair, clothes, and skin and sometimes I also separate the eyes. When shading and adding highlights on these parts(except the skin), I create another layer and clip mask it. But in this challenge I tried to do all of those process of coloring the character using only 1 layer. I was unsure where to start shading or adding details after laying the base colors. Artpark has a new challenge for this week called 3 Emoji to OC. Basically, you make an Original Character based on the 3 emojis provided. The 3 emojis are: Alien π½, SunglassesπΆοΈ, and Maple leafπ. It's my first time hearing about this challenge and I was excited to create my own OC cause I mostly draw characters from anime. I drew my OC in a human form, but I made her eyes and the color of her skin like on the alien emoji. Supposedly she's just wearing a Maple leaf covering the sensitive parts, but I end up making her a stylish space suit. I uploaded two versions, one with the space helmet on and without the helmet. It's Week 12 of Artpark's DTIYS challenge(happy 3 months π) and I present to you my take on Hisoka from HunterxHunter anime. He's a bit malnourished in my drawing π and what he's wearing here is the one when he fights chrollo in the manga. It is one of the fights that I'm excited to see animated, reading the manga was already exhilarating. I adjusted the height of my monitor last week cause it was way too low from my head, so I always get inconsistent colors especially when adding highlights on black/dark colors. It is also the reason why my back always hurt cause I hunch my back just to see if the colors are correct. Now that my monitor is fixed, I tried to channel my inner WLOP/Guweiz while coloring this piece π.

Hello everyone, here is my entry for week 11 of Artpark's DTIYS challenge. I really wanted to draw a fanart of Nezuko since last Feb and I did a rough sketch of her(second image), but I didn't finish it because I was having a hard time drawing a cute poseπ . This was also the time where I decided to learn at least the basic anatomy. The background that I made here is the wisteria flower. It is known in the anime that it repels demons, but I think Nezuko is special so the wisteria flower doesn't affect her. This week in Artpark's DTIYS challenge, I did something different. I used a reference for the whole character. What I realized while doing all this DTIYS challenge is that I still need to improve on drawing poses. I was lucky to find this reference right away while exploring instagram. Finally got some extra time to draw π Since I accidentally discovered how to create the light effect(sunlight) on skin(Bakugo dtiys), I was so excited to do some light study and experiment with it more. This is the result π. I still have some struggles in controlling how light or intense the effect is. The reference I used was on instagram but the account was not the real owner. I found out she has an account on weibo and her name there is εΉ΄εΉ΄ζfish. #Illustrators

I finished this entry for the artpark's weekly challenge last wednesday and I was very satisfied of the result but as the days passed by, I began to notice some mistakes on the right hand and the pose is very stiff. I wanted to redraw the whole body, but I decided not to do it so I can see the mistakes I made. This week's reference is Yami Sukehiro from Black Clover anime. #ArtPark
