Sometimes I struggle drawing some parts of the human body and sometimes I can draw it with ease. Maybe it's because I always try to draw from memory just to practice what I've learned or saw from a reference. Looking for the right reference is also difficult and time consuming especially if you want a specific angle of a pose. If I can't find a reference, I always end up taking a picture of myself or look in a mirror and take a pose xD
Anyways, here is my drawing of Bakugo from the anime My Hero Academia for the Artpark's DTIYS challenge. I was able to draw this easily, except for the hand, I used my hand as a reference for it.

To join or not on this week's Artpark challenge? That was the question I've been asking myself when I first saw the anime reference this week because I have not watched the anime, but hey this is why it's called a challenge in the first place. So here is the result :)
The original plan was just to draw from the shoulders up and I saw some reference of him placing his hand on his neck(I think he likes showing/touching his neck hehehe), so I added it.
I tried to manually replicate the gradient color map technique on medibang, but I failed and end up coloring it the usual way.

Another DTIYS challenge done. I drew saitama in his casual clothes and instead of his deadpan look, I made him look semi-serious. I also painted it again in grayscale first, then colored it using a gradient map. I use 5 shades of gray that represents the different locations(e.g. 0%, 25%, 50%, 75%, and 100%)on the gradient map so that coloring it will be easy. You can also change the blending mode of the layer to achieve different color effects. #ArtPark
Hello everyone 🙂, here's my drawing for the Artpark's Weekly DTIYS challenge. The reference this week is Kugisaki Nobara from the anime Jujutsu kaisen.
When this challenge started, I haven't watched the anime yet, but I already heard some great reviews of it. And when I started sketching, somehow, I can't figure out how to draw this character. So I decided to start watching the anime to get to know of her character (I haven't finished the anime yet, currently I'm on episode 19).

Hi, here is my artwork for the Artpark's Weekly Do This in Your Style challenge(DTIYS) and the reference this time is Rukia from the anime Bleach. I decided to go for a semi realistic style and draw her in her school uniform. My favorite Arc in the anime is the Arrancar Arc and after that I finished watching it I dropped the anime. #ArtPark
IU will be releasing her 5th album in a few hours, so I made another fan art of her. 😊
The art style is similar to the one I did on Rose and I am really happy on how it turned out.

It's the second week of the Artpark weekly DTIYS and this week's reference is Eren Yeager from Attack on Titan. I also challenged myself to draw a full figure this time. I admit I only have watched like a one or two episodes of Attack on Titan and the Live action movie of it. But lately I wanted to give it a try again because of my niece and nephew.

Here is my artwork for the Artpark weekly dtiys and this week's reference is Sasuke. I'm really bad at gestures, so I decided not to use the reference picture and created my own pose as an additional challenge for me and I hope it's okay 😅
I just started learning anatomy and this challenge was a great practice for me applying what I've learned so far.
It was overwhelming at first and didn't know where to begin. After looking some reference, I decided to start around the ribs area cause I think it's the easiest. Also, that's why my drawing is just a half part of the body cause that's where I'm at the moment.

Recently, one of my fave artist came up with a new OC and ask her followers to draw it in your style. I accepted the challenge and drew this and applied a new coloring technique that I learned.
I always shade my drawings with dark, less saturated colors and I learned that you can shade with colors that are more saturated than your base color.

Today, I want to share a comic strip I made about the quote "Aim for the moon. if you miss, you'll land among the stars". Also today, the Perseverance rover and its buddy Ingenuity helicopter landed safely on mars. I'm excited on what they'll discover on this mission.
