Want to get an opinion/advice on this. I sometimes like to browse online shopping sites for unique gift ideas and I came across a coaster set. It's a vinyl records coaster set and these were the groups or artists they chose. One Set had: 1. The Beatles 2. Queen 3. Pink Floyd 4. Elton John 5. Michael Jackson 6. Elvis Another set had: 1. David Bowie 2. Freddy Mercury 3. Elton John 4. Sting 5. Rod Stewart 6. Prince There were others but these two set caught my eye. Do you think a vinyl junkie would appreciate a gift like this? Do you agree with the lists OR if someone gave such a gift to you, which groups or artists would you have picked?? Personally, I would substitute Bob Dylan for Elton John. (P.S. I know you would never even think of setting a drink of the faces of any these music legends. But humor me. Pretend you like the gift. 😁)

I have a friend that makes these from old albums and sells them. The label area of the album is all he uses, takes a cutting tool and cuts it out.
Your friend is very innovative and enterprising. That's a great idea! One time I saw a lady in Walmart buying up a bunch of cheap stuffed bunnies. I overheard her conversation with the cashier. All she does is embroider the child's name on the bunny and maybe add a decoration like a carrot. The parent buys the "customized" gift. The Walmart store ran out bunnies on a account of this lady. But she said she good money! Some people just know how to create opportunity! LOL.
It will be a great gift for music lovers.
Well, user @myklj999 created the #VinylJunkies channel here on noise. You could ask him. I kinda think it is a cool idea. But why the love for Bob Dylan? I've never understood his appeal. I once carpooled with a guy who was a Bob Dylan fanatic, and he would play song after song of Bob croaking and growling. Those were long commutes!
