It's nice to live in a developed country. The salary you usually get is enough to satisfy your needs. It's easy to buy food or to pay bills. And even in such countries, some people who can't work may have troubles in that. Especially if you are an immigrant who's just surviving in it. Doing everything to get the citizenship or to get a better work to stay there or a diploma to be able to come back home. People have different situations, and it doesn't matter where they live. But it's not always the case !

Most native people do usually well in developed countries comparing to those who are living in poor countries. In a poor country, people have to work really hard to eat and survive, even if they lived there all their lives. Without working that hard and sometimes even harming their health, it's so difficult for them to think about their future and especially investing in something. And the high corruption there makes it harder to create business. Because even the juridical system is not working well there. If a country is weak economically, it's usually weak in other fields as well.

Having lived half of my life in Algeria and seeing how people survive there, I can say a lot about that. That's why I immigrated to Russia to live a better life. I had a good work in Algeria, even a good salary, and that was considered there as a middle level. But I didn't see any perspectives there. The gap between wealthy and poor people was so huge. Fewer people ever think about investing, and more people think about surviving. I'm sure that's a situation in most poor countries, even if they may be ashamed to admit that. Maybe they want to look strong in front of others and don't want to show their weakness. I understand them anyway.

So, when I started living in Russia, I noticed a lot of improvements here. Even the weather is better because of the culture of landscaping and the existence of enough water. As you see, even the nature is not on the side of poor countries. When I lived in Algeria, I was going sometimes outside to bring water home. There are some places in Africa where water is the most important thing, while in other countries we don't even think about that. I've lived for more than 10 years in Russia and never thought about the lack of water. For people here, it's something that should always be, just like electricity or heating. Even heating in Algeria was a problem for me, people usually wear warm clothes inside their homes even if the winter is not that cold. In Russia even with temperature 10 or 20 C below zero, at home I can wear very light clothes.

So, in a developed country, people have time to think about investing because they have most human needs met. It's hard for someone to invest if satisfying his/her needs is needed for surviving ! That's why pushing people to invest in something without understanding their situation is really the wrong thing to do !

We have to always consider the needs of others before placing our needs in the first place ! That's the best way to healthy relationships !
