Being a parent is complicated, even if it is the best job in the world but it often requires a lot of patience and a great desire to play with children. Probably the most difficult age in this sense are the first years because the child is not self-sufficient and needs parents for everything: food, sleep, diapers, games, pains, tantrums. And often the only way they can communicate these needs to you is by crying or moaning. It is therefore necessary to know how to decipher every single need and it is not certain that you will always be able to guess at the first attempt.

With my 16 month old son I have now established an excellent management of the various needs but sometimes I still confuse his needs. Luckily he begins to express some key words such as water, baby food, poop, pacifier and helps us in part in understanding his requests. A child of this age only wants to play at all times of the day, he wants to interact with people and with other children and the role of the parents is to try to help him do a little of all these things.

I often see around, however, a certain apathy on the part of parents who are probably subjected to daily stress and keep children at bay with YouTube videos transmitted via mobile phones. In my opinion this bad habit, although it can give a certain serenity in particular moments of the day such as during meals or during the walk, is however an attitude that is exclusively deleterious for the child. Hypnotizing the mind in front of the scenes of a music video, cartoon or video game, is absolutely not recommended and right for a small creature as it risks creating serious damage both to the child's attitude, developing an asocial and detached character from reality, and visual damage.

But above all in this way the beautiful vitality that every child has with him from birth is extinguished. The will to live and play is replaced by a tablet or mobile phone due to bad habits. Raising a child is not at all simple: you lose that sleep we have been used to in most of our lives and you do not know when you will actually recover it. Parents are the point of reference for their children and they will always want to play with us or will always ask for our support for anything. It's the nature. The duty of a parent is to try to accommodate them, sometimes we succeed at other times less, but what I do not know should never do is to trap the creativity and joy of life of our children, they are the future noatheist and if we block them these beautiful gifts, what can we ask of them when they are adults?

They are our future and it is necessary to do what is in our possession to make them happy.

we as parents always want the best for our children. I agree with you when you say that it is not good to let a child stay playing all day long with a cell phone. Many parents do it so they don't have to deal with the child, without realizing the harm they do. Interesting article. Regards.
