The Sword in the Stone is a Disney cartoon, produced in the 60s but it certainly remains among the Disney movies that I love the most. It is a story that fits very well with the Christmas period and in fact it is often released by the national network just in December.
The story tells of a precious sword, which appeared suddenly in the rock, and of magical writings in which he will proclaim king who will succeed in extracting the sword from the anvil. Many valiant
warriors have tried the business but no one has ever succeeded and so England remains without a king.
Semola is a young apprentice of a noble family and takes care of some household chores and is a squire of Caio, a knight chosen by the family to participate in the tournament whose winner will be proclaimed king. During a hunt, he accidentally falls into the house of the magician Merlin, situated in the woods, who undertakes to instruct the young boy.
Once at the castle where Semola lives, the magician is housed in an old dilapidated tower but is always determined to use magic to teach him education and culture. Semola learns with difficulty the hard lessons of life but, despite his current condition, his qualities will be his strong point and in front of the sword, in a completely random way, he will succeed in extracting it without any difficulty. His sword chose his master, a sincere and noble-minded boy, and for this he deserves to rule, his majesty King Arthur!
The sword in the stone is a cardboard to look at together with the little ones but I am sincere I still go around it alone. It is a cartoon animanto that teaches people the true value that a king and in general a man must have. The nobility of the soul has no equal, and is stronger than the brute force. No matter what the physical appearance, nobility of soul is essential!

La Spada nella Roccia è un cartone animato della Disney, prodotto negli anni 60 ma rimane sicuramente tra i film Disney che più adoro. E' una storia che si concilia benissimo con il periodo natalizio ed infatti è spesso rilasciato dalla rete nazionali proprio nel mese di Dicembre.
La storia narra di una spada preziosa, apparsa all'improvvisa nella roccia, e delle scritte magiche in cui si proclamerà re colui che riuscirà ad estrarre la spada dall'incudine. Molti valorosi
guerrieri hanno tentato l'impresa ma nessuno ci è mai riuscito e cosi l'Inghilterra resta senza un re.
Semola è un giovane apprendista di una famiglia nobile e si occupa un pò delle faccende domestiche ed è scudiero di Caio, cavaliere scelto dalla famiglia per partecipare al torneo il cui vincitore sarà proclamato re. Durante una battuta di caccia, cade accidentalmente nella casa del mago Merlino, situata nel bosco, il quale s'impegna ad istruire il giovane ragazzo.
Giunti al castello in cui Semola vive, il mago è ospitato in una vecchia torre fatiscente ma è sempre deciso ad utilizzare la magia per insegnargli educazione e cultura. Semola apprende con difficoltà le dure lezioni della vita ma, nonostante la sua attuale condizione, le sue doti pure saranno il suo punto di forza e dinanzi alla spada, in modo del tutto casuale, riuscirà ad estrarla senza alcuna difficoltà. La spada ha scelto il suo padrone, un ragazzo sincero e di nobile d'animo, e per questo meritevole di governare, sua maestà Re Artù!
La spada nella roccia è un cartone da guarda assieme ai più piccoli ma sono sincero io lo girado tutt'ora da solo. E' un cartone animato che insegna alle persone il vero valore che un re ed in generale un uomo deve avere. La nobiltà d'animo non ha eguali, ed è più forte della forza bruta. Non importa quale sia l'aspetto fisico, è fondamentale la nobiltà d'animo!
