Splinterlands Weekly Challenge: MYCELIC MORPHOID

Hi all Splinterlands friends,

here we are at the usual weekly appointment with the Battle Challenge, today's theme is MYCELIC MORPHOID, monster of the brand new Chaos Legion edition, a common card but which must be analyzed for its mana / advantages / characteristics ratio.

Apparently, many would judge this card as poor and lacking in attention, but we do not make too hasty judgments because this monster can be a resource on more than one occasion. First of all, the mana of 1 point allows us to deploy the monster in any competition with reduced mana, it is a not insignificant advantage especially if to improve its Melee attack, the card is deployed with the summoner Daria, adding a +1 bonus to damage dealt to opponents!

MYCELIC MORPHOID has low general characteristics, an attack that reaches maximum damage +2, a speed +3, no armor and a maximum health of 3 points. At level 3 he gains the unique Thorns ability, dealing damage to the enemy who attacked him. Sure, the damage could be minimal but Splinterland battles are often very balanced and even 1 point damage could defeat the opposing card and lead allies to victory. Never underestimate these aspects.

In my lineup, I fielded the monster in last position, the overall mana was low, but rather to go out with one less card, I fielded MYCELIC MORPHOID. In the battle at the link below, you can see that his intervention was not necessary, but in case BROWNIE was defeated, MYCELIC MORPHOID would have been there for the coup de grace!

PELACOR MERCENARY

A card that I often underestimate but which offers significant advantages as evidenced by the battle. Deployed in the first position and thanks to its Flying ability that dodged some attacks, the monster seriously damaged the enemy and led me to victory. The Heal skill will be added to the next level 6, which is another big plus!

MANTICORE

Card with a +1 double ranged attack ability and the ability to avoid melee and ranged attacks from monsters without the ability to fly. An excellent card capable of attacking from all positions and with a good defense with 6 life points! A really nice find!

BROWNIE

Excellent resource that allows my cards to gain speed and, paired with CREEPING OOZE, constitute a very interesting advantage, not to be underestimated, which I appreciated during the various battles.

MYCELIC MORPHOID

Never underestimate low mana cards, they are truly an incredible asset and can decide the battle in your favor. Since the monster has 1 mana point, even if its characteristics are scarce, in time of need it can really make a difference!

Conclusion

The @splinterlands contests are not only aimed at making us get generous upvotes but it is above all to help us discover new cards that can really be very useful in our battles and stimulate us to new strategies and more options in battle.

Ciao a tutti amici di Splinterlands,

eccoci al consueto appuntamento settimanale con il Battle Challenge, il tema di oggi è MYCELIC MORPHOID, mostro della nuovissima edizione Chaos Legion, una carta comune ma che è necessario analizzare per il suo rapporto mana/vantaggi/caratteristiche.

All'apparenza, molti giudicherebbero questa carta come scarsa e priva di attenzione, ma non rilasciamo giudizi troppo affrettati perchè questo mostro potrà essere una risorsa in più occasioni. Innanzitutto il mana di 1 punto ci consente di schierare il mostro in qualsiasi competizione con mana ridotto, è un vantaggio non di poco conto soprattutto se per migliorare il suo attacco Melee, la carta è schierata con l'evocatore Daria, aggiungendo un bonus +1 al danno inflitto agli avversari!

MYCELIC MORPHOID ha caratteristiche generali basse, un attacco che raggiunge al massimo il danno +2, una velocità +3, nessuna armatura ed una salute massima di 3 punti. Al livello 3 acquista l'unica abilità Thorns, infliggendo il danno al nemico che lo ha attaccato. Certo, il danno potrebbe essere minimo ma le battaglie di Splinterland sono spesso molto equilibrate ed anche il danno di 1 punto potrebbe sconfiggere la carta avversaria e condurre alla vittoria gli alleati. Mai sottovalutare questi aspetti.

Nella mia formazione, io ho schierato il mostro in ultima posizione, il mana generale era basso, ma piuttosto di scendere in campo con una carta in meno, ho schierato MYCELIC MORPHOID. Nella battaglia al link in basso, voi potrete vedere che non è stato necessario il suo intervento, ma nel caso in cui BROWNIE fosse stato sconfitto, MYCELIC MORPHOID sarebbe stato lì per il colpo di grazia!

PELACOR MERCENARY

Una carta da me spesso sottovalutata ma che offre notevoli vantaggi come si evince dalla battaglia. Schierato in prima posizione e per merito della sua abilità Flying che ha schivato qualche attacco, il mostro ha danneggiato seriamente il nemico e mi ha condotto alla vittoria. Al prossimo livello 6 si aggiungerà l'abilità Heal, un ulteriore grande vantaggio!

2 - MANTICORE

Carta con un'abilità di attacco a distanza doppio + 1 e la capacità di evitare attacchi in mischia e a distanza di mostri senza la capacità di volare. Un'ottima carta capace di attaccare da tutte le posizioni e con una buona difesa con 6 punti vita! Davvero una bella scoperta!

BROWNIE

Ottimo risorsa che consente alla mie carte di guadagnare velocità e, in coppia con CREEPING OOZE, costituiscono un vantaggio molto interessante, da non sottovalutare, che ho apprezzato durante le varie battaglie.

MYCELIC MORPHOID

Mai sottovalutare le carte con mana basso, sono davvero una risorsa incredibile e possono decidere la battaglia in vostro favore. Poichè il mostro ha 1 punto mana, anche se le sue caratteristiche sono scarse, nel momento della necessità potrà davvero fare la differenza!

Conclusione

I contest di @splinterlands non hanno solo l'obiettivo di farci ottenere upvotes generosi ma è soprattutto quello di aiutarci a scoprire nuove carte che possono essere davvero molto utili alle nostre battaglie e stimolarci a nuove strategie e maggiori opzioni in battaglia
