The weekend now begins to glimpse, I already feel the taste of relaxation that begins to pervade my senses. Compared to the previous weekend that saw me work on Saturday, this weekend I will instead be completely free from any extra-family commitment.
As a good resident of a seaside city, my programming has the sea at the top of the lineup. When I was a kid, I used to inaugurate the summer season in the first days of May, sometimes even in the last ten days of April. This year, thanks to the lockdown, the weather is not yet ideal, I still have to dive into the sea and, looking at the weather forecast, it seems to be the right weekend. Since adolescence I have always frequented the same place with friends, now I continue to do it with my family. With a 14 month old baby, the place is also ideal for him as there is a cove full of pebbles and the entrance to the water consists of a good portion of sand.
### Dinner at the villa
Last weekend we resumed the appointment with our friends who are lucky enough to own a beautiful villa in the countryside, a fairly urban area. Saturday evening will certainly be full of company: the only unknown is always dinner. It is usually something we decide on the same day and often ends with a home-made pizza or take-away at the last minute. But it matters little, the important thing is to always be in good company, regardless of where and what you eat
### Family lunch
It has now become a practice to have lunch at my parents' house on Sundays for lunch. It is a special day when my mother has such a number of diners that she can show off her cooking skills and above all in abundant portions. Since my brother and I have left home, she still cannot convince herself that she and my father cannot eat the quantities of 4 people 😂
### TV series
My wife and I are big fans of TV series and before the birth of our son every evening, after a working day, we would watch a couple of episodes of some series. Then everything obviously changed and we hardly have the time and energy to do it during the week. When we tried it, we ended up falling asleep shortly after the start of the episode. Now we have found our small space on Sunday afternoon, taking advantage of the presence of grandparents playing with the child, my wife and I get to see each other a couple of episodes.
There remains the doubt of Sunday evening. Usually my wife and I take our son to the park and then a nice walk on the sea coast where there are pizzerias, restaurants and pubs and here we have many possibilities for dinner. Sometimes, however, we go directly home and continue to play with him.
One thing is certain: our life revolves entirely around that of our son. Everything we do and think, he is our priority. And all this is the most beautiful thing in the world, beyond the most tiring.

Il weekend ormai inizia ad intravedersi, sento già il gusto del relax che inizia a pervadere i miei sensi. Rispetto al weekend precedente che mi ha visto lavorare il sabato, questo weekend sarò invece completamente libero da qualsiasi impegno extrafamigliare.
Da buon abitante di una città marina, la mia programmazione ha in cima alla scaletta il mare. Quando ero ragazzino, ero solito inaugurare la stagione estiva nei primi giorni di maggio, talvolta anche nell'ultima decade di aprile. Quest'anno, complice lockdown, tempo non ancora ideale, devo ancora tuffarmi nel mare e, osservando le previsioni meteo, sembra proprio che sia il weekend giusto. Sin dall'adolescenza ho sempre frequentato con gli amici lo stesso luogo, ora continuo a farlo con la famiglia. Con un bambino di 14 mesi, il luogo è ideale anche per lui essendoci un'insenatura piena di ciottoli e l'ingresso in acqua è costituito da una buona porzione di sabbia.
### Cena in villa
Con lo scorso weekend abbiamo ripreso l'appuntamento con i nostri amici che hanno la fortuna di possedere una bella villa nella campagna, una zona discretamente di città . Il sabato sera sarà sicuramente all'insegna della compagnia: unica incognita è sempre la cena. Solitamente è qualcosa che decidiamo il giorno stesso e spesso si conclude con una pizza fatta in casa o in extremis da asporto. Ma poco conta, l'importante è essere sempre in buona compagnia, indipendentemente dal dove e dal cosa si mangia
### Pranzo di famiglia
È oramai diventato una prassi il pranzo a casa dei miei genitori la domenica a pranzo. È un giorno speciale in cui mia madre ha un numero di commensali tale da poter sfoggiare le sua abilità di cuoca e soprattutto nell'abbondare con le porzioni. Da quando io e mio fratello siamo andati via di casa, non riesce ancora a convincersi che lei e mio padre non possono mangiare le quantità di 4 persone 😂
### Serie TV
Io e mia moglie siamo grandi appassionati di serie TV e prima della nascita di nostro figlio ogni sera, dopo una giornata lavorativa, ci guardavamo un paio di puntate di qualche serie. Poi tutto è ovviamente cambiato e difficilmente in settimana abbiamo il tempo e l'energia per farlo. Quando noi ci abbiamo provato, è finita che ci siamo addormentati poco dopo l'inizio della puntata. Ora abbiamo trovato il nostro piccolo spazio la domenica pomeriggio, approfittando della presenza dei nonni che giocano con il bambino, io e mia moglie riusciamo a vederci un paio di puntate.
Resta il dubbio della domenica sera. Solitamente io e mia moglie portiamo nostro figlio al parco e poi una bella passeggiata sulla costa marina dove ci sono pizzerie, ristoranti e pub e qui abbiamo tante possibilità per la cena. Talvolta invece torniamo direttamente a casa e continuiamo a giocare con lui.
Una cosa è certa: la nostra vita gira interamente attorno a quella di nostro figlio. Tutto ciò che noi facciamo e pensiamo, lui è la nostra priorità . E tutto ciò è la cosa più bella del mondo, oltre la più faticosa.
