The mass adoption of cryptocurrencies will never be a sudden process and I personally believe that it will be necessary to wait another decade to start being used in real, everyday life. At the moment there is a long and slow process of communication and integration with the outside world and so many timid positive signs are very encouraging. If we took a step back in time to 4 years ago or 8 years ago, well we would see giant steps in that direction. And I am not referring to the price of cryptocurrencies, this is still a process of financial speculation, many currencies are underestimated, others are insanely too high.

Over time, the market will decide what is good and make a natural selection from the thousands of designs and coins that still exist today. In addition to the institutional companies that have started buying cryptocurrencies, a concrete example of adoption comes from Spain where the Partido Popular (PP), the main resistance in Spain, has presented a bill that would consider the possibility of paying the mortgage of home and beyond, using cryptocurrencies.

The belief that people have enormous value in cryptocurrencies is convincing institutions to adopt a new payment method, which could in many cases make it easier for customers. So I think how nice it would be to be able to pay my monthly installment with HBD, earned from my blogging activities or from CUB rewards in DeFi. It is foreseeable that cryptocurrencies will be part of the financial system in the future, initially as a support for FIAT coins or national digital currencies but the time will come for overtaking and it is at that moment that the decline of centralized currencies will begin.

By now more and more merchants have begun to accept cryptocurrencies as a means of payment, the banks themselves are studying possible financial products associated with the crypto world. Few are left to criticize Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies as a bubble, by now they have understood that this is not the case. Coinbase's listing on Wall Street paved the way at the institutional level. It's just a matter of time: 5 years? 10 years? 20 years? No matter how long it takes, what is crucial is that the mass adoption process has begun and will be irreversible!

La mass adoption delle cryptovalute non sarà mai un processo repentino e personalmente ritengo che sarà necessario attendere ancora un decennio per iniziare ad essere utilizzati nella vita reale, quella di tutti i giorni. Al momento è in corso un lungo e lento processo di comunicazione e integrazione con il mondo esterno e tanti timidi segnali positivi sono davvero molto incoraggianti. Se noi facessimo un salto indietro nel tempo a 4 anni fa o 8 anni fa, beh noteremmo dei passi da gigante in tal senso. E non mi riferisco al prezzo delle cryptovalute, questo è ancora un processo di speculazione finanziaria, molte monete sono sottostimate, altre invece sono follemente troppo elevate.

Con il passare del tempo, il mercato deciderà ciò che è buono e farà una selezione naturale tra le migliaia di progetti e monete tutt'ora esistenti. Oltre alle compagnie istituzionali che hanno iniziato ad acquistare cryptovalute, un esempio concreto di adozione arriva dalla Spagna dove il Partido Popular (PP), la principale resistenza in Spagna, ha presentato un disegno di legge che prenderebbe in considerazione la possibilità di pagare il mutuo di casa e non solo, utilizzando cryptovalute.

La convinzione che la gente possiede un valore enorme in cryptovalute, sta convincendo le istituzioni ad adottare un nuovo metodo di pagamento, che potrebbe in molto casi agevolare i clienti. Allora penso a quanto sarebbe bello poter pagare la mia rata mensilmente con HBD, guadagnati dalle mie attività di blog oppure dalle rewards di CUB nella DeFi. È un processo inevitabile, lento ma progressivo e la sua velocità aumenta ogni anno in modo esponenziale. Sono certo che l'idea di pagare il mutuo con le cryptovalute sia un'idea eccezionale, penso magari alle persone che sono in difficoltà e che hanno a disposizione crypto tale da poter anche saldare l'intero mutuo. È prevedibile che le crypto saranno parte del sistema finanziario in futuro, inizialmente come supporto alle monete FIAT o alle valute digitale nazionali ma arriverà il momento del sorpasso ed è in quel momento che inizierà il declino delle valute centralizzate.

Ormai sempre più commercianti hanno iniziato ad accettare le cryptovalute come mezzo di pagamento, le banche stesse stanno studiando possibili prodotti finanziari associati al mondo crypto. Sono rimasti in pochi a criticare Bitcoin e le cryptovalute come bolla, ormai hanno ben inteso che non è così. La quotazione di Coinbase a Wall Street ha spianato la strada a livello istituzionale. È solo una questione di tempo: 5 anni? 10 anni? 20 anni? Non importa quanto tempo sia necessario, ciò che è fondamentale è che il processo di mass adoption è iniziato e sarà irreversibile!
